Film Impact is great, just hate how it's subscription based. I miss the days of a one-time purchase. I'm still using an old install from years ago that includes a few free effects. Fits my needs.

Thanks COlin. I agree that these subscription base models make this secondary.

Yes; it does look great. A one-off purchase yes but another subscription service; sorry but no.

I see several negative comments about this video and I agree with them. The positive thing is that we see that it is possible to apply transitions if they are available in Premiere. Let's ask Adobe for that. Really for them it is something very simple to add. I don't understand how they did it years ago.

Far to expensive and if you don't live in the US you have the currency exchange rate and as an example in Australia it will cost you $29.. per month ! so it would cost you $348 for a 12 months subscription. I dough they will get many PPL take this up unless in high end production services.

Looks like a bunch of effects from 10 years ago.. you only see these in non-professional videos aside from MAYBE 2 of these.

So I thought this video was going to be a deep dive into transitions in PP for absolute beginners. Instead it's a 18 minute sell on a pay-for 3rd party plug in? No thanks.
Also, actually very frustrated that the explanation of what "Film Impact" is, how much it costs, and that it's not in fact a built in PP feature wasn't upfront and clearly stated in the first 5 minutes (didn't finish the 18 minute infomercial). The opening line of this video is what I wanted to see answered, "where are all the cool transitions?" - I wanted to get more info about how to get the most out of the built in transitions of PP, not an up sell for an add on product.

This is just an advert for a plugin.. almost as bad as another youtuber who does premier stuff filled full of kick backs for them.
