Took my brother in law out for a spin in the dirty derv E91 335d, annoyingly the car is still getting too hot and causing me to back off and short shift. You can hear it chiming roughly half way round.

Did you ever drove an e90 / e92 on track ? How does the e91 touring perform compared to the sedan / coupe ? Since the toruing only weight 60kg more then the sedan and 70kg more then the coupe that doesn't sound to bad. Does it handle compareable to the other classes ? I'm not sure if I should go for the toruing or sedan. I like both, but i'm a bit more into the toruing because it should be a daily driver with some track laps.
Not that much of a difference if you dont have the panorama roof the problem of the panorama is that you have a lot of additional weight on the highest point of the car
Yup wagner intercooler, water meth injection also. It must be running a little rich and generating more heat, or its just the extra heat generate by the hybrid turbos running more boost. I have a thick alloy radiator to fit so hopefully that will cure it.
Bear Trucking it had hybrid turbos, water meth injection, 3"exhaust from turbo back, Wagner intercooler. Figures were 439bhp 840nm. It was a quick car 👍
Iancu Nicolae 0-60 was in the 4.8-5.0 second mark. Quarter mile wouldn’t know as never tried. Again those figure should be taken with a pinch of salt as they were not done with a vbox

The inspectors are just asking for the best with the towbars being removed so that if you crash the towbar doesn't get crushed underneath the car!! :)

But why? Do you have bigger FMIC? ANy meth installation?

You could try adding extra fans, 2 small fans in front of the radiator or in the back of it, on the lower side which is blocked by the intercooler.
Running rich causes less heat fyi
Which 335d transmission can handle more torque? The manual or the 6 speed auto?
Probably the manual 330d gearbox tbh mate, although the auto can do 1000nm

@@toms4272 makes them much easier to control when they step out and the way it's gets the power down with one is so much better.
