Good review of Chandan attars. Apart from the famous Mysore sandalwood and its oils, nowadays cultivation of sandalwood has started in the AP, MP, Maharasthra, Gujarat, etc. May be oils produced from those sandalwood will not be similar and classic as Mysore sandalwood. Indian sandalwood is Santalum album. Similar to it but with lower oil concentration, much woody, less mellow is Santalum spicatum which is commercially produced in Australia. Due to restrictions on Mysore sandalwood, the Australian sandalwood oil has become popular worldwide. Hope the next Attar is Vetiver (Khus). Best wishes meanwhile.

Nice introduction to Sandalwood attars Joy bhai. Kya premium attars bhi aate hain with real sandalwood oil, I don't mind paying more for it.
And will it work on curtains as I want the fragrance to come from my room. Agarbatti works only till it's lit..
Thanks Mayank ji. Yes premium attars aate hain, sabse best quality mysore sandalwood to sirf Cauvery Emporium se mil sakta hai and it costs about 5K to 7K for 6 ml but I haven't used it so no experience about its longevity or fragrance
Bhai local shop se sandal khareeda hai,i am new to attars,kab tak me attars expire hote hai? Like do they expire at all??
Expire to keh nahi sakte lekin kuch oils ka fragrance kam hota hai over the period of time
