Im preeeetty sure that the "all stars" motif (the melody he sings at the beginning of act 4) is actually in the theme of the intro cutscene when you first see horror mario
It's the instrumental not the vocals

I'm pretty sure the entire mimic section is an entire reference to all the other songs in the mod perspective to who he is mimicing. Mr. V's section being the most obvious one.
Also, Mx's part is a reference to Demise when the whole screen turns red. Only difference is that it has a few extra notes and it's obviously in a faster pace.
