So beautiful I could cry. Cortex created one of the most gorgeous albums of all time, the emotion is just so powerful. And excellent musicianship.
Love this album. Hope to see myself at a Cortex live one day. Toujours excellent

Beaucoup trop méconnu ❣️❣️❣️

nice to see Alain found a singer able to sing the highness of the Cortex repertory very well. This is needed to feel the emotion of the composition. Great live!
I am extremely happy to watch Mary ef Jeff at live in my lifetime. It has been longed for for too many years

Best concert of my life.
This album is fucking amazing!!! Love smoking getting High to this album
This sounds even better live🤯🤯
trop bien!
These guys need to do a North American tour. I would commit crimes unmeasurable to mankind if it meant these guys would come to Toronto. Doesn't even need to be exclusive to TB, some songs off of Volume 2 or Pourquoi would be just as amazing.
Perfeito
Do you have any sheet music for this? It’s beautiful
Wow
Awezome
20/20 😀😀
Mary et jeff sounds an awful lot like devils dance. devils dance is how I found out about cortex. Cheers friends !
I am writing this comment hoping to reach out to anyone who felt the same way I have felt in the last hour. I have long been infatuated by two certain tracks, “Dead Presidents III” by Logic, and “Mural” by Lupe Fiasco. Only in the last hour did I stumble across the original sample of the two tracks, a record by Cortex, who I was only familiar with through another track by the same band titled “Huit Octobre 1971”, I’m sure you may know it.
I cried for an hour straight upon finding this track, playing it on repeat, and even sharing the moment with my partner in the next room and introducing her to the same record. I fell in love. Instantly.
I even reached out to a very good mate of mine who I share plenty of music with, particularly hip-hop music and it’s vibrant art of sampling.
I had to find a live version to prolong the moment I was experiencing and the track that followed in this video convinced me to go and listen to the entire record front to back.
I was, and still am, absolutely amazed. I never knew music would make me feel this emotional.
I have many a time felt the power and influence of music in my life, but I don’t think anything can compare to the evening I just shared with this song.
Even Baby Keem sampled the drums on “STATS”, and although it took me a few listens to finally realise where I heard them drum fills, I was delighted to be reminded of the unique ability of Baby Keem, like many others, of their ability to sample what can be considered an obscure genre into another genre I am rather more familiar with in hip-hop.
Thank you Cortex. I hope to see you live one day.
