So, I would like to design and build a very small version, because my principal hobby is to do wooden boats models, and it is hard to find veneer wood in different thicknesses here. Could you help me by giving me more mechanicals details, specially speeds and chain transmition reduction. I understand wooded log rotation speed must be regulated with the knife cutter speed. My idea is to do a no more than 200 mm width cutter, actually a very mini desktop peeler. Many thanks for your expected answer.

@@karanjeetsingh7100 literally yesterday when I was next to the machine I measured with a spirit level and the heights are as I wrote before, completely aligned in the spirit level.

@@millionTv01 i think the machine frame is strong enough, but the shaper blade mount looks too thinn. need some thicker metal there, or bracing, and itt will cutt mutch better and more silent

But someone suggested me here in India that the blade should be 2 or 3 mm higher than the center of spindle.

well built machine but not enough rigid. you can see the the surface cut and hear the sound
