We're finally back with another grocery haul for you. After a busy week away on our family holiday, I stopped at Aldi this morning and spent £96 on our groceries for the week ahead (including laundry products and bleach).

oh you're so lucky Pauline - I used to visit regularly as a child but hadn't been in about 30 years I think. We had the best time - stayed near Freshwater and just got out exploring the island every day. Thank you xx

Good that your back. Your looking well. Sorry to hear about Licky. One of mine died suddenly. She was younger. Well done with the rats. I don’t have any now but they make fabulous pets. You can train them to sit with you and they love being handled. They will give you much pleasure.

Really sorry you lost biscuit,and on your birthday aswel…. Cost of living is a nightmare- you have to try real hard and go out of your way and out of your comfort to pull off a better shopping bill these days. My niece had rats when she was young and indeed I am a rat as well as a crab lol xxxx

Thank you Kirsty - I think most people's fear of rats comes from the wild type as they have a bad reputation. However, "fancy rats" aka pet rats are completely adorable - when I post an intro video of them, have a watch - you might be converted lol x

Great to see you back missed my favourite grocery hall person yours are interesting. Sorry about the wee Guinea pig 😢. My daughter's got 2 they are biggest ive ever seen, she's got a russian hamster and 2 gerbils. Animal mad, she did want another baby girls are 5. And 3 but it's not happening. So she's now just gone and bought 4 baby girl rats who i love. She had them before and yes they are very clean animals these are weeks old and already have established where they do the toilet, very interesting to watch, i had last ones for a week when she moved house. No baby so they've decided to buy a bigger house the animals need a room lol. So Granny might get them again to look after hope so. Look forward to seeing yours, these are Suki, Suzie,Eve, and Echo. My grandaughter 5 named them, she's just been diagnosed with Autisim .😢
Thank you Liz - they really are very cute and entertaining - Toney and I have both had them as pets when we were younger so knew Caleb would enjoy having them. There's one slightly crazy one so, of course, he is Caleb's favourite lol. Sorry to hear about your granddaughter - but at least with a diagnosis you can now get support. x
@thefamilyseesaw2892 thanks yes she's lucky she is verbal in fact really never had a spech problem apart from its either English or American, not that it's a problem. Apparently its very common in autisim . She's extremely clever but has limited social skills and still in nappies , again seems to be very common. I can't get my head round she can name every dinosaur but doesn't know when she needs the toilet. I'm sure it'll come.. great to see you back. X
It's funny but I was just thinking about you and wondering how you are doing. So sad to hear about Licky, we had two guinea pigs and miss their "weeeeks" whenever we open the fridge. I love rats and would have some except one of our cats is incorrigible when it comes to small animals. Look forward to your videos whenever you have time to post one.

Children should not have energy drinks! So dangerous for their hearts, even 1 can cause heart problems 😥
Thanks Rachel - we don't support the use of full on energy drinks for anyone - even adults. Sport drinks are different in that they are promoted in professional sports as a way to replace electrolytes lost during activity and so he drinks one of those after a long game or run (he does sports 6 days out of 7). This Prime is the Hydration version and not the energy drink so don't have the caffeine in them - but this is still only the 2nd or 3rd one he's had despite all the hype as we don't trust them in the way we would lucozade or gatorade hydration drinks.
@@thefamilyseesaw2892 the one you show in the haul is the energy drink. It clearly states 'energy drink' on the front. The cans are energy drinks and the bottles are hydration drinks. I have no issues with the hydration version.
thank you for pointing that out - I thought the energy drinks had to have selling restrictions and these were all on the shelf mixed up with the bottled ones so assumed they were the same.

They really do make fabulous pets. Rats are fastidiously clean animals and very trainable creatures. Their bad reputation arises from human disarray. Poor sewerage and waste control.
What a stupid comment, they're not exactly going to be in her videos. They make great pets and are very clean, teach them lots of tricks they love performing .
the fear tends to come from images of sewer rats and wild rats - domestic rats are a completely different animal and, like you say, clean and extremely intelligent.
Sorry you feel that way - this is the reason I indicated any rat content would be separate videos so people can choose not to watch them if they don't like rats.
