Yes i also observed this as i have seen his opinion on different streams . The most important thing is if some org is doing wrong then normal sikhs do not condemn or speak against it be it Khalistan issue or any other just they serve their community brotherhood this is my opinion from what i saw in Punjab while living there for my undergrad from 20-24.
One thing i also observed there is hate for non-Punjabis, especially Bihari Majdurs who works in fields and migrates there and the funny thing is that they hate others on baseless arguments imo.
