Ofc he was trying to land one final attack on the Nasus, but seeing that he was withered which is an increasing slow ability and Nasus had already run beyond the range of his E, he should have reactivated his R by that point before the final turret shot. His abilities at level 6 have too long CDs for that situation to be even close to coming back. Even his E wouldn't have been back up before the final turret shot landed. Q CD at lvl 6 is 6s and E CD is 5s and even if he had CDR boots his E wouldn't have been up in time before Nasus was out of his reach. By the time he was dead even 5s had not passed since his last use of E, so waiting for his CDs is not an excuse. By the time 1 turret shot had landed he should know that if he waits for his CDs he is going to tank way too many of them. But even if he doesn't understand that, he still had time to reactivate his R when the 3rd shot landed when it was obvious that he is never going to reach Nasus.
