I was at concert and sat up in the balcony also back row. I had no idea what was going on on the main floor until we heard Hauser announce Celine and ask if she would sing. I’m sure it was an honor for her to be asked and she would have sang if she could. It was so exciting to know she was there and they both were fans of each other.
Blessing to them both …had the pleasure of seeing her in the 80 in Toronto!

Celine is classy and elegant. I love how her sons are by her side in every photo lately. They seem like remarkable young men. If you look at their body language they are very protective of their mom , as it should be.

i dont know why you're bringing up stress, but yeah, like I said Celine played it off graciously and in a playful way, but the mere act of turning down the invite would mean Celine was "stressed" about doing it. If you haven't noticed Celine's singing voice has been a point of "stress" for her over the last 15 years, and she hasn't sung publicly in the last 4.
Having the dream of performing with Celine was the compliment. Not taking "not now" as the answer and claiming she can only perform when she has "rehearsed" was rude and ignorant. Not taking no for an answer the second time, and the third time is not a compliment. 4 times it took.
Next time, someone asks you to do something, and you say no, and then ask you again, and you say no, and ask again, and you say no, and they ask for a fourth time, and you say no...just remember its a compliment.
And notice that Hauser told her before the show he'd be performing "My Heart Will Go On" but didnt also use the opportunity to ask her privately when he could perform with her? Instead he waited to ask that question in front of a large audience that would make it harder to say no to? Another compliment I suppose.

Yes his exuberance got the better of him unfortunately...but she handled it like a pro...she went to enjoy as an audience member with her family.. ...she wasn't vocally or emotionally prepared to appear on stage at this time..she is recovering and doing well..her voice is coming back..just some time and then nothing will stop her...hervoice will go on and on....😊.

I know what that looks like and I know that what Celine is going through IS hard on the body. Shoot. I've struggled with that too but it can go either way. People can actually keep a person from living, etc. due to their fear of what may happen if they do follow their dreams, etc. or they can treat them normally. It's belittling NOT to say Celine Dion has worked her life to be where she is today. It's belitting NOT to note how amazing, talented and completely breathtaking she is due to that work. Health can not and never will define a person nor should it end all of their dreams. I have NO doubt whatsoever that life is hard for her. You can't watch certain videos and say that her life is not hard. Who knows if Hauser actually knew about her health issues though. It's not like they have been public news for years. That's also probably why people like Bob Fosse didn't make a HUGE deal of his having seizures like that in rehearsals. People would have stopped him from sharing the wonderful things he did with the world. It's best NOT to assume anything and to just be grateful as Celine herself was. We can learn from her. I understand how some feel though as seeing some of her struggles brought back very painful memories for me. I honestly don't know if I can watch that documentary and NOT have a panic attack. I have no doubt those who are not used to seeing such things would make them out to be much worse. Some truths DO make a person wonder what is best but I am betting that Celine Dion herself knows what is best for her. If she EVER questions that, I hope that she thinks of Bob Fosse and Frida Kahlo. Two completely different artists but both with extreme health issues. Hauser wasn't bullying her though, he was treating her as a fan treats someone they truly admire and want to work with. I would hope that if he had known about her health that he would have left that alone after the first no or asked her privately before the show. That's show business though and like Celine herself has said the show must go on. I'm not saying it's easy but Celine Dion deserves the credit for being that strong. If people don't remind her of that strength, it will only be harder for her to remember that she NO DOUBT has that strength in her and TRUST ME, she needs to be reminded of that strength. She needs people to still believe in her. I still believe in her!!! I believe in her 100% My thoughts are the same words a very wise man once sang and those words would be Let It Be.

Every one is learning through experience. I hope Hauser may be able to manage such siuations sensitive and better way in the future.

Knowing what she’s going through with SPS, I would never ask her to come on stage to sing with me if I was Hauser! She was just there to relax and enjoy the show with her 3 sons!
How did Celine recover so well from the Stiff persons syndrome ? She does seem perfectly normal ,even her voice . Surely this must give people who also suffer from this illness , some hope ?
She has not recovered - the is an autoimmune progressive disorder. With proper treatments she can have good days like this one. But that's not always a given. Her documentary is coming out tomorrow and it shows what SPS can do to her body and voice. It's harrowing.
There is no recover. And also this is not like she is spasming every 10min of the day and night. She is dealing with this illnes 17years by know. But fro mfew years ago this desese are severe. She has mamazing medical team and rehabilitation guy to help her any time and get her better. Im so glad she can afford the best ones, who can help her imidiety. She seems to be better but we dont know the rare truth how is it now at home, without dressing up or makeup, pretending everything is ok. Give her a break.
Just because you see someone who is chronically ill out and about and looking like they’re completely healthy doesn’t mean they are! I suffer from ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia and when you see me, I’ll look perfectly normal because my illness is considered invisible. I have epilepsy also and suffer from extreme spasms so even though those can be seen, I’ve learned over the yrs to avoid triggers which allow me to be outside during days when I know I probably wouldn’t suffer from physical manifestations of my illness.
If i was her I would have my team request that all videos I took with him before the show not be posted online by him, his team or his label.

He kind of pushed it a bit far. Trying once to coax her was probably okay... but even aftter she refused... he tried several other times again. And it got a bit awkward and already seemed pushy.

Was he just being kind to ask her onstage. Maybe he was just commenting on how nice it would be to have her onstage but knew she wouldn't sing a duet. We don't know the reason why he suggested she get up to sing with him

We were sitting right behind her and she enjoyed the concert so much, she cheered and danced… I don’t see how it was inappropriate of Hauser to invite Celine Dion on stage to perform with him! I’m sure he asked for permission backstage. He did nothing wrong!

Not at all disrespectful. He was having fun with her and showing her how much he and the crowd simply adore her. It's that simple. Don't create drama where it doesn't exist; there's plenty of drama elsewhere in the world for you to exploit.
I think he was just so shocked she acknowledged him that he was just finding words to thank her for being there. I don't think he was looking any gain from this.

It’s so hard to watch this. NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER have I seen Céline turn down an opportunity to sing with anyone. She loves to sing, and her confidence is limitless because she has the pipes. This was a huge disappointment on so many levels. I agree with many people here that he should have been more tactful and refrained from putting her on the spot during her current health condition. If he cared about her at ALL, he would have never allowed himself to ask that of her.
