+habbogigi Me too! So happy that Jodie Sweetin will follow her "Full House" co-star Candace Cameron Bure's dancing footsteps on DWTS! I sure hope that she'll go a long way just like Candace does. She's been wanting to do this less than a decade ago, and at last, DWTS Season 22 is worth the wait for her! I'm gonna root for you, Stephanie Tanner, for the big win! Can't wait for the S22 cast reveal tomorrow on Good Morning America AND for the grand premiere come March 21, 2016!:D
what has she "been through" ?
She was 'dealt a great hand' in life and did , it would seem, just about everything in order to squander that good fortune
Anything that she has "been through" she brought upon herself. Reserve your sympathies for those truly deserving.
+mano fiske People are free to direct their sympathies towards whomever they please. Jodie has had it pretty rough in the past. Being that you don't even know what she's been through, your comment is hardly relevant.
+mano fiske She was adopted at 9 months old only to find out later that her biological mom was a drug addict who would leave her to go party and her father was killed in a jail riot. She was drinking by age 14, maybe even earlier, and was taking ecstasy in high school and cocaine in college. Eventually she began doing crystal meth and became a serious drug addict/alcoholic. It wasn't until she realized she was becoming like her mother that she started getting clean for her kids. She's just had a tough life, and yes so have plenty of other people. But the truth is we don't know what else she's seen or been through so you can't say she doesn't deserve sympathy. Anyone who feels pain deserves sympathy and the sooner the world starts realizing that and becomes more compassionate the sooner we get our shit together.
I knew she was going to be on DWTS because after watching fuller house the dance episodes I was like she will be on DWTS soon
I'm not only happy to see Jodie again in Fuller House and DWTS but to see her get a second chance in life and resurrecting her career considering what she's been through. God bless this beautiful young lady.
She's also getting a second chance at love, since she's currently engaged and madly in love.

Jodie is going to kill it. I don't know much about Keo but I hope he can take Jodie far. Btw, they should've showed Stephanie's motown philly recital. That showed more of her dance moves.

While I like Candace Cameron Bure, I always thought Jodie made more sense for DWTS given her dancing skills as seen on Full House. Happy for her!
She was my favourite in Full House, and now, so many years later, she still is my favourite!! She is so natural and humble, and incredibly pretty! I used to like Candace when she was a teenager as well, but now she seems to me a little arrogant, that's why I don't like her that much anymore. But I'm glad that Jodie has stayed down-to-earth all these years!!

+roter13 i always feel he's been eliminated 1st for 2nd because of his teaching if he leaves early with jodie that will show you he's not a good teacher because i feel last season had Chaka been with artem she would have been better and had Charlotte been with Val,Derek,Or Mark she would have gone further and do a lot better so this i feel is gonna test how good a teacher he is i personally feel Jodie should have gotten Mark or Val or Artem
It's not been him, it's always been his partners that screw him over. I think he will be just fine with her.
Totally agree. I'm starting to think he's just not a great teacher. Jodie has prior dance training, so she'll probably do good on the show! If they leave early, we'll know it's because of Keo.

Unfortunely no. Artem was doing with Mischa Barton from OC but she was bad at this. Jodie and Mischa are gone bad girls.

Too tall for Mark. Val would've been a good choice but I guess probably since she danced with him on Fuller House, they may have not wanted them to dance together on the show. I'm excited for Keo because now he has a partner that he can actually create amazing choreography with and be able to make it maybe even to the finals.

She is going to do amazing with Keo...he is an amazing dancer if u have ever been to the tour shows or watch him in the troupe dances he is good...I think they will be great together and go far...he was a champion latin dancer so we know he can dance!!!! He might have a chance since Derek is not going to be on (p.s. I love Derek and good luck on Broadway)
