I figured that CZcams needed a tutorial for this fantastic solo seeing as there doesn't seem to be one available. Hope this helps you guys and gals out. This is part 2 of 2.

Interestingly it is one classical solo that has two classical versions of it, studio and live. David Gilmour managed to accomplish that. And you managed to be perhaps the first person on youtube to teach how to play it flawlessly in a didactic way. Great job!

Shine on You Crazy Diamond live at Knebsworth 1990 is at least as epic to me as the studio version, both have some unique sick licks.

Wow, I am extremely grateful for tutorials, especially all the David Gilmore ones.I must have learned half a dozen or so the last several weeks. You have a gift. Your attention to detail is impeccable. The first solo I learned from your Tutorial's was Firth of Fifth. Awesome job. I would like to see another Steve Hackett solo. I have not found any of his work. The knife from Genesis live (1973) and or The Musical Box come to Mind. I saw your Robin Trower Day of the Eagle-short and sweet. Another guitar master ,any song of his would be welcome. I don't want to bog you with requests but along with David Gilmore, Hackett and Trower are my favorites. I saw Pink Floyd in 1977 at Madison Sq. Garden, Animals tour. Best show of my life. I have also seen Steve Hacket, and Robin Trower multiple times. I am glad you love posting these on your channel. I am going to listen to your story , I almost feel like I have met you, spending a lot of time learning from your work. You make the guitar world a much better place. Thank You..John Maffucci, from Westchester NY.

I am nearly there about 2% left. This guy is just an amazing teacher. I played it in my new sire s7 but simce i sent it to get set up better i am playing my Gordan smith GS HH 1995 amd now i can tell how shitty my new sire S7 HSS pick ups are, lol these P90s in the old guitar are amazing and its a solid gibson shape no arm. But 10/10 to this teacher. Thank you so much.

This is a fantastic transcription. "Vibrato everywhere...there are no static notes anywhere. If they're not being bent, he's waggling it" :-). Guess that's what's needed for maximum emotional involvement with the music.
