Happy to see Wabi Sabi main Stars (would have been dumb on GMMTV's buisness part to not take them over 😂 ) fully but I am also said that Wabi Sabi soon is no more..I wonder what that means for all their most succesful shows are they still up here or just a part of our memories? Or did GMMTV grab those too? Making new ones tottally forget that Wabi Sabi once existed as a daughter-company?
I mean given they've already been daughter company and cameos were happening, I think Boun, Prem, Yacht, Samantha, Santa and Stamp joining could be potentially intresting for future GMMTV projects..I mean now we're even more likely to get them join our GMMTV favourites. 😍 😍

i still don't really onderstand why they didn't just expanded their contract. like im really happy for them but i don't understand why they left wabi sabi
I think in the first 30 seconds it explains that Studio Wabi Sabi itself is no longer gonna manage artists but will fulfill all existing contracts so assuming anyone's contracts that expired or about to expired left and whoever still has longer contracts will be there tll it ends. So technically it wasn't the artists complete decision.
Ah, I see. I guess this is a occurence yearly now until all the actors and actresses that signed under Wabi Sabi contracts run out. Like, if they just signed contracts maybe those are till 2027 or though and by that time Wabi Sabi, the company itself plans to not exist anymore.
I mean given that Wabi-Sabi was a daughter-comanpy of GMMTV to begin with, they're already friends with some of the GMMTV clique, so I think it was quite easy to convince them to come over to the "big brother".
And it makes for things like Mr Sood-Yacht having a support role in "Perfect 10 liners" and even all his TBA projects aren't from the list yet. I guess some of them might be delted-recasted and stuff like that but can you iamgine the Wabi Sabi stars with the GMMTV Stars in multiple projects togehter. And once uopon a time, people won't even know they came "over" ones?

I believe his still on Studio Wabi Sabi. Studio Wabi Sabi pledged to honor all existing contracts with their artists until fulfillment.

I'd like to think it was a miscommunication, or non-understanding of the conditions set by the Japanese company from whom GMMTV obtained the rights to the series. Unless Japanese companies specifically release series for international audiences themselves, and therefore provide subtitles, series will not be allowed to be subtitled. In fact, the majority of Japanese shows, regardless of genre, remain without subtitles - there seem to be very few people willing to sub Japanese shows. Japan has a mindset that if international audiences want to watch Japanese productions, then they should learn Japanese. GMMTV were probably unaware of this, assuming that providing subtitles would not be an issue, so they wouldn't have specifically looked for it in the contract, or even spoken about it during negotiations, after all there is no such issue with Korean series. I'm quite sure that now that GMMTV are aware, the same mistake won't happen again. There are certain websites that do have the Thai version of Cherry Magic with subtitles... it's just not available on GMMTV or the site it was moved too. Although it was announced that international audiences could watch the rest of the series by using a VPN, it still did not have subtitles.
Even with that, cherry magic was well made and did so well
I'm waiting for GMMTV to be able to convince Saint Suppapong to join them. ff GMMTV is able to come up with a PerthSaint series their investment will haul in a huge profit.
