Wave Over Wave

Here's my tribute to the Sail Crew of the Maritime Museum of San Diego, of which I am proudly a member.
I took a lot of the pictures, but a lot were also taken by Maggie Walton (all the really good ones).
The song is Wave Over Wave, written by Jim Payne and covered by Great Big Sea. I thought the lyrics fit perfectly with our reasons for sailing.

Great pictures! I would give anything to sail the Surprise, I'm from Victoria BC, we've got a square topsail schooner up here and a gaff rigger run by a sail training company, and I'm trying to take the necesary courses to get on with them but, a square rigger would be a dream come true, it's too bad theres no more sailing frigates from the napoleonic era that still actively sail (except for suprise of course). The Brits should have Trincomalee surveyed and made sail ready, she's a beauty too!
