As per why it would be him over Solo, he is the only one out of the 4 "new bloodline" that is heavyweight championship material atm. Solo is still a couple years off and needs an IC level run, and there is no way Tama Tonga will be running for WHC while having this bloodline gimmick.

The Bloodline saga is the best story in WWE history. The next 3 months are gonna be good and SummerSlam should be awesome. I'm so pumped.
