Altissima contemplazione!
there are more talented musical cats from the Baltics than words can describe
Very effective interpretation, with moving ppp fermatas and very accurate transitions between phrases. Please tell the altos to take more care of the ppp dynamics in the opening (and repeated) "O crux ave".
Thank you for the kind words and for the suggestions too :)
All choirs in the UK should listen to Baltic singers and re-learn how to put real emotion into their singing, especially sacred works. I agree there are a tremendous number of terrific choirs form this area of the world. i.e. Anima Solla
Gary Turner I hope you think we are a Baltic choir, but we are not :) On the other side, we live closer to the Baltic sea than to the UK - we are from Slovakia.
Gary Turner The choir is not Baltic, the singers come from Slovakia ( Central Europe). Great that they can be mistaken for Baltic - very good performance
