Being from PA...I'm not buying most of this!
🤣😂😆
Don’t sleep on the Lehigh Valley with cities like Easton Bethlehem Allentown and others for the third largest populated city lots of growth city attractions land
Wfat is Brookhaven like? I wanna be near Shoprite!
@@helprehouseourvets6919 that’s great wonderful area Chester county near Westchester and downtown Philly
I love Lehigh Valley I went to college out there. Im from Pittsburgh but want to move back over there eventually.
I been there and I love it
I've never lived in Allentown I've of course only visited it because my husband is originally from Allentown and that's where his family lives but I think it's beautiful and we want to relocate to the Lehigh Valley County area Allentown area from York in probably a year
You can expect about 10 feet of snow every year and maybe even more. It’s Lake Effect Snow it doesn’t stop.
Clearly this person did not do their research. These are some of the worst places to live in PA!
Harrisburg and strong education offerings, lol. Where did you get your information from? Then you say a 1 bed is $1,200 like that is normal. 1 Beds should be around $600 - $700. Your average salary is no more than 45K If you are lucky
Why is it so affordable, rents & homes? Not affordable where I am in MA. Sounds like they are frozen in time.
lovely state
When covering Pittsburgh, you took a great shot of the Smithfield St. bridge. I loved seeing my old bus stop: Smithfield @ Blvd of the Allies. Pennsylvania is certainly not forward moving like the majority of the country. But there's no better place to live than da 'burgh, as long as you can stand the potholes and taxes.
Beautiful Pennsylvania
Erie has a terrible economy 😂😂😂. Erie is declining for many many manyyyy reasons. Weather doesn’t help.
What's minimum living costs in Pennsylvania
Lehigh University is in Bethlehem.
State College and Lancaster, yes. Any of the other areas listed are considered "cities" of PA and are not the best places to live... lol, Scranton, lol.
Scranton...that hillbilly name alone tells you not to even consider moving there!🤣😂😆🤭
That was a poor overview of Lancaster. Lancaster city has some great neighborhoods and restaurants and a famous indoor market. Outside the suburbs, yes there are Amish farms.
What about York??
"aye-mish" Lol
Definitely not Philly😂😂
Lol I used to lived in philadelphia is bad they should not be on the list lol
Right?! 😂 I'm from K&A, and now it's famous for being THE worst intersection in the world for drug problems. I'm glad I got out of the city 22 years ago.
Erie has a strong economy? Thank you for that news. Scranton? I don't think so.
Scrantons main street looks like a ghost town.

Come to Birdsboro, but don't drive too fast or blink, you might miss it.
Don't come to my town, go to Philly instead. The armpit of PA. That's where ALL of the PA state taxes wind up.
This list is crap. I live and grew up in PA some are good but definitely not Harrisburg or Philly
I certainly would not live in some of these towns, allentown, is one for sure, the suburbs, and surrounding towns are nice,
Allentown and the Lehigh Valley are done. Too much traffic, too many idiots from N.Y.and Jersey
@@JeffreySmith7777 I am from new jersey, so I am an idiot. stupid remark, however I am from south jersey. you made a very stupid remark. I can report this.
Whoever made this video obviously is NOT from PA.. Philadelphia is definitely not the greatest spot to live in, neither is Pittsburgh... looks like all you did here was lost the largest cities in the state.. do your research next time!
Best place to live in Pennsylvania is the furthest place from any large or mid sized city. If I wasn't born, raised and so established here,,, I sure as hell wouldn't stay here.
Where is this narrator from? Unless it’s robot voice or AI but it doesn’t sound like that. It’s pronounced “Awm-mish” NOT “A”-mish. Muhlenberg is pronounced Mule-Len-Berg.
Lehigh University is in South Bethlehem not Allentown. Yet Bethlehem is known for Moravian College that dates way back to the Moravian settlers in this area.
She obviously does know PA, because Allentown, Philly, and maybe Pittsburgh are from experience living in the Lehigh Valley high on crime regardless what her statistics say. Glad I got out of Allentown. Before the New York people invaded Allentown it was not so bad.
Those Moravian settlers built the college football stadium that's still being used today.
@@gregmcmullen6698 I wasn’t that familiar with the stadium but that’s an interesting fact.
Philly should not be on this list. It’s a crapshoot
Depends on what section of the city you pick, and if your definition of Philly is actually Philly or its surrounding areas.
Philadelphia shouldn't be on this list from what l know about it lol...
It would be number 1 on best places to get your car stolen by a homeless person in Pennsylvania
share what they not telling. A INQUIRING MIND would like to know. HONESTLY
Philadelphia is a dump.
Philly has both- the best and the worst.
How did Philly make it to a number 1 pick? Evidently the author doesn't live near there. 😂
These stats must be from the 1970's! Home prices reflect crime rate and joblessness...the lower the home prices, the higher the joblessness and higher the crime!
What they forget to mention is that these first 6 cities mentioned are all "the new havens for illegal immigrants ", none of whom have any skill sets except to take unskilled jobs from people currently here; and when they talk about Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, they were, at one time, great cities. Now, unless you are a healthcare worker or tech guru, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, or Philadelphia will not do well for you. Gone are the good-paying blue collar jobs of welding, tool-and-die-makert, semiconductor industries, space and aeronautics and aerodefense jobs.
She said Amish wrong like A-mish but she says Lancaster fine
Lancaster is becoming Philadelphia, the amish can't function there anymore and are moving to the center of the state and paying big $$ for any farms they can buy.
And $1500+ is not affordable rent
Both she pronounced incorrectly - Lancaster is not said Lang caster. Go there and say that and see what kind of look you receive.
WTF is a Lang-caster, and what is "A" mish? Its Lankister, and us locals call them Yonies. And who is paying 1500 fkr a 1 br apt? I pay 1125 for 3 BR apt.
Which part of Lancaster is better?
Regarding Philly, they left out the part where college students at one university in particular, being picked off by local hoodboogers.
Last I heard Erie is a dump.
Those places are good but why don't you do the small towns like Yukon Madison Greensburg Ruffs Dale Johnstown Summerset Latrobe just to name a few of them. I never see them on here.
You left out the part where they are all terrible biking cities because everyone goes 60mph and the part where Scrantons neighboring city Wilkes’s had such bad “gun violence” the federal government and the president stepped in
Scranton and Wilke Barre are still run by the mob.
Scrantons gotten more crowded and rents have gone up to average $1200. Most houses were brought and flipped to increase their prices.
The president didn't do anything. There's still gun violence in Wilkes Barre like every week. With that said Wilkes Barre is still 10x's better than Scranton. Scranton's main street is a ghost town w everything closing. There's literally nothing to do in Scranton but drink. Wilkes Barre has twice as many restaurants, shops, activities.

Um, Lehigh University is in Bethlehem and we say AH-mish, not AY-mish. Jeezus. Get it right if you are going to do a video.
I've heard Scranton is an absolute crap hole.
Scranton is bad, per ex-cong.
Best place to live? I just finished a video stating that everyone's leaving there!🤣😂 I'm from there now living in NC because Pa. is a Democrat and RINO crap hole with high taxes, no jobs and high crime rate! The weather is another issue!
Huh? Erie? No thank you.
This is so wrong 😂
Oh my God! You placed Erie in top 8 unbelievable., that’s a ghost city and ghetto place and Pennsylvania one of the worst place to live
