    Just changed the plugs on my Camaro thanks to you. It was the easiest plug change I've ever done. I had no idea how to do the job til I watched your video. Thanks again you saved me $$$

      @@315motorhead79 Amazing, didn't know it was so simple. Which type of cold air intake do you have? I've never seen one like that before, it looks Really nice

    Thanks, 9 years and 10 months on my first plugs. They still looked decent.

    Did you put grease on them before putting them in?

    You said you changed the plug for better fuel burn due to 20% ethanol. Would you get the same result with standard ethanol % in the gas using these plugs? Or is it better to stay original?

    is the procedure the same for a 2012?

    What E3 plugs did you use? How did you account for the factory gap?

    I saw that Bosch is using the same kinda plugs now so I wonder if they work.

      The stock plugs I took out didn't have any on them when I took the old ones out. I wouldn't be against putting some on if you would like to.

      The Stock ones Do Have Anti Seize on Them From the Factory....
      U won't see it cause after Time it Burns off..
      But Still won't let it Seize up...
      Should Always Use Anti Seize on Aluminum Head's

      @Lenny8548 Před 5 lety +1

      Could be your throttle body, hook up a scan tool usually those don't show up until you actually start bogging out, after that check your fuel line pressure as well as your spark plugs.

    • @itszDevil
      @itszDevil Před 5 lety +1

      So envious ok thnx for that ! i already cleaned my throttle body and checked it yesterday. but i havnt checked my spark plugs or fuel lines thanks

      Exclusive Maro if you have a friend with the same Camaro, ask if you can lend their throttle body, hook it up and see if it keeps bogging out

      Is your Camaro an automatic transmission or manual transmission? How many miles on your Camaro?

  • @MarcsMobileAudio

    I would not have used and E3 plug for the v6 camaro or any direct inject engine motor the groundstrap get to hot unless those are a heat range or so colder. I would like to know how they worked out.

      So they did work out really well. I saw a noticeable improvement in fuel efficiency. I also didn't reinstall the cheap plastic engine cover either. It actually helped dissipate the heat better too.

    shouldnt you be using torque ratchet when you re-install the spark plugs? .... great video btw!

    • @315motorhead79
      @315motorhead79  Před 6 lety +1

      Thank you, and your right. You should always use a torque wrench when installing the spark plugs. When i made this video I didn't have one handy but I did go back and torqued them up.
