Honor has normal proper android natively installed, but Honor has to compete against Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple.... not an easy task.
Please confirm the Security Concerns as we have to Sign in our Gmail ID, also the installed apps like some payments apps.
Have way too many issues with GBox on my Huawei Nova7.
For starters, it requires 2 factor auth, for EVERY app and it sends you into an almost infinite loop and eventually complains about unsupported browser.
Have got passed that hurdle for some of the apps, however:
CZcams - keeps buffering, hanging videos (does not happen on the browser edition)
Maps - at times hangs, does nothing
Overall, kills battery and apps are not usable.
The "run CZcams in gbox" is not showing in my app gallery can someone help it's only show the quick app version
Love my P30 4yrs old almost I decided to buy the same phone again new for 3rd price of the Google pixel 6a and still beats it in my eyes
When i first got my hauwei Phone Gbox worked great but after some time when i try to install apps it says "instaliation of the app didnt go through" does anyone know the issue.If you do please let me know, ive been strugling with it for the past 2 months.
I used gbox for quite some time but it drains battery too much.
Surely a far better and elegant solution than side loading Google apps!

I love my P30 Pro and recently took advantage of their half price offer to get the battery replaced. I'm saddened by their decision to drop out of the UK, and would have loved to upgrade to a P50 Pro, but might have to consider an Oppo (different division under Huawei's owners stable) instead.

Huawei is not related to Oppo, since the global Oppo variants comes with Google out of the box

hey Ash, is there any security or payment related concerns on the Huawei phones. After all it was the main reason for them to get banned.

to much steps for google apps we want theme ready at start and theres that security or payment related concerns on the Huawei phones its still not going to convince me getting one.

I don't like google. I especially use GrapheneOS and Linux to escape from Big Tech. I only needed Gbox for Uber I guess. So this huawei situation has been interesting for me for a while now

What about payment apps bro (security) ???
Banking apps are working fine. Gpay was working but later stopped after some time. All other UPI apps are working fine. Tried it in mate 40 pro.

The fact that the app works and the code is executed, does not automatically mean the phone is compliant to modern security standards, also it does not mean that the phone can provide proper compliant environment for the app. Think use your head, we talk about different things.
i doubt, that Huawei in their currently inferior form can provide a proper security compliant environment for apps. it can provide something in terms of security, but does it support and provide the newest security standards and frameworks? i doubt it. i seriously doubt it.
Only if Android Auto works ...which you haven't mentioned.

How about the delay? Is gbox make Whatsapp chat late for example?
I believe it will slow the app, by increase latency to emulate googled android on top of non googled android. This will eat lot of resources, lot of battery, it will slow the phone i guess and the phone might take less apps or lighter apps. Anyway. It is not an offer attractive to me. I switched to a phone with proper android, native proper android and i am not thinking of such strange solutions.

No automatic app updates. No Automatic OS update. you have to manually search for, and manually apply the updates.
