Use a 10mm wrench on the bolt, it takes a while but that’s how you get the bolt out.
Im always losing my 10s lol

No problem. Thanks for watching and hope i earned a like and sub.
Hello Reaper, I am thinking of doing the same to my 2024 Busa. Great video by the way. I was thinking of getting Brocks block off plates since I am getting an Alien Head 2 exhaust and Sprint AF. However, the page instruction for Brocks Pair block off's seems to me he reuses the reed valves underneath the plates. Correct me please if I am wrong. Besides he only mentions a bypass plug (I guess thats the resistor you talk about) in case you get a code. Seems to me your set by Boost by Smith is a more complete system and I did not see you replacing the reed valves under the plates. Please let me know cause I am doing the Brocks purchase soon and was thinking of getting his Pair Block off plates. However, after seeing you video I think I should go with the Boost by Smith ones. Thanks, Luis
I took the reeds out and although i am a dealer for brocks i did get the other vendors cuz it was more complete.
wow, that was a fast reply, thanks Reaper. I will also go with Boost by Smith for the same reason, thanks@@fearthereaper1300
@@Knolgarcia69 no problem and thanks for watching
On my gen 2 Hayabusa I left the gasket inside under the block offs and I notice there is a small gap… do I have to take those out too?
If there is any gap id take the gaskets off and reseat the block offs. If your block offs are flat and your valve cover is flat...it should fit perfect. Thx for watching hope u subbed
My tuner told me the reason to do it is it throws the air/fuel ratio off through the exhaust when dyno tuning.
yes that's somewhat correct. when you block the pair valves it gives a better reading of AFR AND it gets rid of all the decel popping and back fire. realistically there is software like woolich that can flash the pair valve and turn it off however, you get rid of "dead weight" as well. bikes already heavy so anywhere you can get rid of weight is a plus. thanks for watching and hope i earned a sub.
@@fearthereaper1300 I've got the full akrapovic system on mine and I don't get any decel popping. I've got the plates as well as a DNA filter and some carbon Smith dimpled velocity stacks on their way. Once they're all fitted then I can get it tuned.
@@seatothejay i havent gotten any stacks yet. Have the full akra though. Not very loud
@@fearthereaper1300 I had the carbon Yoshi r77's slip ons before the akra and they were really quiet.
@@seatothejay i got the akra vs brocks on purpose. Just to have something not so loud. My other bikes are loud
