- Whilst the use of Chimps in adverts would be frowned upon nowadays, in their time these were really clever and much loved. Brooke Bond later renamed their Tea PG Tips and used the Chimpanzees for over 40 years. These were promoted during Childrens and primetime TV Adverts in the Ad breaks along with kids comics.
These films are a retrospective and nostalgic look at what the offers have been over the years here in the UK and relive your youth
The channel mainly focuses mainly on Breakfast Cereal brands including Weetabix, Kellogg’s, Quaker, Nabisco & Nestle, however I like to include other things that interest me. Its a chance to act as a future archive/history for anyone who wants to relive the magic of youth when you used to rush down to breakfast, open the new packet and hope the gift was one you wanted
So for those of you who look back in the past with fond memories of Yesteryear and recall mascots then this is for you.
Where ads and commercials are included, these were all shown on usual ITV channels, including CITV, GMTV, POP, Disney, Nick Jr, Boomerang, Nickleodeon, Sky Kids ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Carlton, Cartoon Network, Anglia, LWT, Pop Milkshake, SMTV, Boomerang and more
If you wish to contact me my details are on my website www.cerealoffers.com
I have thought I might as well skip the Christmas one since it’s very early for it. I like the Lloyd Grossman one. Incidentally, was it Josie Lawrence who did the voice of the daughter character and which actresses and actors did the voices of the rest of them? We can’t beat a bit of Grieg from 07:50-07:57 and his morning mood as I am definitely in a morning mood since it’s sunny where I am. 🎵Oh what a beautiful morning,oh what a beautiful day🎵.
Revisit the Xmas one in 6 months 🤣🤣
First time I saw them was in college actually in a lesson
Hope you liked them 😊
@@cerealmad I was sitting there like oh cool I don't show much reaction lol
Does anyone know who composed the music for the Tipps adverts and/or the name of the piece?
Can anyone tell me what the flavoured milk advert was (UK 70s, possibly 1980 at the latest) which went "Milk's fun when you flavour it, you can choose your favourite, kids ain't what they used to be. It ain't like the past, now it's gone mad - yellow and pink and (can't remember what colour was here), gor blimey, then repeat'. I can't find it anywhere but the jingle's stuck in my head for all these years. Thanks.
I don't know that one sadly
@@cerealmad , thank you for responding anyway.
