I thought I was the only one doing that raptor thing, except I do it with fiddlesticks. I buy jungle item and control ward use it to river bush right before I go for camps I move to them right before they spawn leaving almost no reaction time for enemy to contest even if they somehow had vision use W on raptors smite the big one and get out and rotate to kill both blue buff and gromp next. They dont expect it and usually get tilted when they see their raptors are gone and the best thing is when you are done killing scuttle raptors are back again for you to steal again.
I'm so happy to see my personal favorite pick highlighted here. I usually go with a better scaling/tenacity tank style, but I cannot argue that this build is very strong
Hey Happy! Just found this video today and been practicing playing Poppy Jungle the way you showed - and BOY!! I haven’t had so much fun in a WHILE. I just had a match that went for 41 minute and by the end I was zooming around the map helping my teammates out wherever I was needed. In my W my movement speed reached beyond 700! Granted, I did die a lot, but ended up with 24/13/23! Did 40k damage total to champions, dived quite a few times, we won and the game was EXHILARATING! I’m only lvl 37 and am so glad to have find a main, thank you, Happy

It should probably be noted that Poppy has a base movement speed of 345, has a MS speed buff ability AND a dash. And this guy apparently takes the blue speed runes and mobility boots on-top of that as well.

I was a poppy main back in the pillow fight tank meta days This strat unleashed my inner poppy main again and I climbed my ass to chally 600+ lp for the first time With the jungle exp change, it feels so good to be able to hold the games games in my own hands
Just tried this out in 2 ranked games. Very, very strong. Was able to make enemy bot lane combined 0/8 before the 10 minute mark. Didn't even walk into the top half of the map until 12 minutes. Was really, really fun and annoying for the opposing team. Even got most honors for the first time in a LONG time. Felt really good. I always knew that Poppy with Dark Harvest was a thing. Also the blue side red buff start into a mid or bot gank is also almost always what I do anyways. The blue start on red side plus the enemy raptors isn't always guaranteed into certain champions, but the concept is there, to walk behind the enemy unexpectedly.
I've been doing this same strat for awhile. Her kit is unironically really good for the jungle. Assuming you can keep the anti dash, if you get on them they have to burn flash or have a blink.
Poppy is a great jungler. I have no idea why she isn't meta. She absolutely destroys any of the junglers with dashes (Lee Sin, Nocturn, Kayne, etc). Plus her ganks are solid and her objective control is good as well.
Forgot to mention you made a nice ad. No one beats Rav in ad promotion, but you did a nice job, definitely better than probably 95% of all YT channels.

Tried this in a game where 2 of my teamates disconnected in the first 30 seconds, and by the time I gotten to the enemy raptors, an enemy Nunu and wilump and Ryze flanked me.
As of 14.8 this guy now runs electrocute rushing voltaic then steraks and dead mans as usual. The rest is situational but u should have finished game by then. If ur ahead, u can build more lethality - often goes umbral, edge of night, and/or ghostblade. He also goes red pet.
Just tried this out. Went completely even (8/8/8) but won because I just camped bot and got ADC so fed that objectives were free if they were around. Poppy sleeper op.

This Korean player actually has an account in Gold NA server. I played with them not too long ago, and remember the username. The username is "Poppy Only" in NA, is currently Gold 2, with 70% win rate in 30 games on poppy jungle ONLY. He plays nothing else
The cheese part is the game plan not the champion itself. Tried this pathing for a few games on jungle Singed and I can officially say it's busted. Singed also has waaaaay more utility late game in fights.

I'm not paid or anything but I used to have CZcams videos opened in chrome and my league would always "black screen" and i had to restart my computer but now that i use opera.gx i just gotta turn on the ram limiter and it doesn't happen anymore
Poppy is a pretty carry tank, actually, she tanks almost as most as a ornn and she has a gigantic consistent damage especially considering that her main mythics are Sunfire and sunderer, Even though she excels at early game she feels almost like kindred, that if they a good early game, they will be absurdly carrying the game even in late due to the advantages they got, seems kinda weird when I say it but that's kinda what she is, poppy is what you'd say a tank hypercarry especially when you consider her utility (obv she's not camille, karthus or dunno kassadin but her late game is usually fire)

Poppy is one of those junglers that usually get countered in low elo by their own team. Aka "Lets shove the lanes under enemy turret for no reason with 0 poking on actual enemy champs, and lets not set any wards for enemy junglers"-syndrome.
This is crazy I actually a poppy jungle one trick. He and I just poppy and qiyana and make the entire enemy fear walls or we go Lillia and Zoe to catch people sleeping on the job.
tbh the chemtank one is the best . i tried it 30 games on my own with all 3 items and drakthar feels underwhelming. if you get only a little bit behind or do a missplay its like nearly everything can one shot you . divine sunderer is much better but the lack of mr can be a pain in the ass if an ap dmg champs on any lane gets a lead + beside the engage auto for shild and maybe 1 after your first q you cant use it in combat very well. more often you try to get in position for a good e so basically have to "outrun" your opponent . abysall mask is fine in some matches but i recommend a force of nature . FoN + Deadyplate + Chemtank and you become an unkillable cc maschine

That moment when I was already maining Poppy jungle. Hey! That's my champ! Granted I don't play ranked, but hey.
The only times I've tried this enemy jg has either started from raptors or taken them second. Note: doesnt work in low elo where junglers do whatever.
You might need to research jungle paths - e.g if its vs kayn - he always starts raptors so you cannot do that path
@@HappyChimeNoises rammus and hecarim lol. Its been smooth sailing tho, just needed to take a different path instead of the blue-raptors.
