Join me for another Pond Prowler adventure to catch some big crappie during the Spring spawn! Thanks for watching! #crappie #crappiefishing #fishing #panfishing
Agreed, Alan! They are so much fun and easy to transport. You can store plenty of gear, if you choose, and move around to get to things while you are out in the water. The Pond Prowler has made fishing from a kayak less interesting to me.
Great intro to the video! That is the perfectly built and equipped tiny boat! Shoot yeah, that was a great Crappie fishing experience! Nicely done and thanks for sharing!
Big ole crappie caught on this trip. 👍 That pond prowler gets the job done. I lose video around 8:14 mark. Left us hanging how big that crappie was. 🤣 What was that split grip rod you were using?
😂 Sorry about that! She was just under 14 inches. The rod is an Ozark Trail I picked up at Walmart a few months ago. It’s a whippet little rod with decent backbone for a 5’6 ultralight.
They are so much fun to catch! Have you tried looking for them up shallow near the bank and close to trees that are laying in the water? They tend to school up there in both Spring and Fall, especially the first couple of hours after sunrise.
@@pistolcreek obtained looking for them. Most places I fish are over fished. Some people ignore the regulations and keep anything they catch. Unfortunate
I have a little bracket on the front of my trailer where I store the motor while driving. I also made a stand that I can sit in the back of my truck to hold the motor sometimes. I believe I showed it in a more recent video reviewing my Pond Prowler modifications.
Wow I really enjoyed this video. Glad you enjoyed your day
If everyone knew how convenient it is to fish with these little boats, everyone would have one. I'm sold on mine.

You wore them out brother!
It was a fun day for sure!
Awesome fishing video! Great catches too! Thanks for sharing your trip out fishing!👍
Thanks so much, Domingo!
Big Ones! Looks like you got them on a variety of colors.
Yes! Caught several on the red/black Trout Magnet, then more on a roadrunner with purple/pink Crappie Magnet. They didn’t seem too picky that day.

Slabs!
Do you put your outboard on when you get to the waters ? If so how do you store it to transport ?

what size trailer are you using?
The bed area of the trailer is about 4x8. The Pond Prowler 8 is 4x8 and it fits perfectly inside it.
