when I was a kid in SF during the 70's, they had some event at a local Community College with all the top athletes from the Warriors, 49ers, Raiders and local celebs. Pat Patterson showed up late to the event. I was a pre teen, I felt this creepy weirdness about him. When he stood around actual athletes, it made me realize this pro wrestling is not like professional sports!
