Hell no, I love my armlock. Most solid putting I've ever done, once I decided on my grip and took a few Bryson tips. Keep at it and enjoy!
I’ve been using one for almost 2 seasons now and it hasn’t failed me yet. I’m by far the most consistent putter in that range over all of my playing partners.
With the armlock it moves your hands higher to your body center of gravity and your shoulder pivot. I used to use a long putter and when they banned it I struggled. Started raising the handle like Steve Stricker. Solved all my problems.
Any chance you might make a video on your Armlock setup, grip, preshot routine, mind-set, etc.? I have been practicing with one all winter and would love to see how you go about it.

I don’t think it’s possible to out nice George.
This is the kind of round where I watch and say “That’s why I’m not a scratch golfer.” So many up and downs that I would not expect myself to make. Incredible.
Even when you watch pros, you’ll see they make terrible shots all the time, but they can get up and down nearly as good as if they hit the green and were putting. I think it’s why the old guys with wisdom say it’s all about short game.
@@mrtopramen my old man will putt only 25-30 putts in a round (that's less than 1.6 putts) and he shoots around 90. He's lost a lot of distance but he makes it up around and on the greens. Mental
That was a great round Grant! Your channel is one of the best "golf" CZcams channels not just because of the content but because of your attitude & personal and well spoken commentary. Your putting stroke looks so good with that. Even on the putts you miss you can tell you’re taking it straight back and hitting your line perfect

Man watching this was an experience in itself. A high handicapper like me who plays around 30-35 really does feel grateful to watch this round of yours Grant 😲 your consistency from the tee and your short game were unbelievable especially playing a tour level course 🤯🤯

WOW GRANT!!!! You seemed to be driving the ball great and your wedges were on fire for the most part. The armlock really seemed to put you at ease on the putts by allowing you to have a better gauge on the speed. Yeah, everything looks dialed except for the irons, but that wind was strong.

Short game looks incredible. Putting has been the best in a long time if not the best its ever been. Im glad that you can be more relaxed with the content creation and just focus on playing really good golf. It shows how your game has improved in the last couple of months by going your own way.

As for this round- you were striping the driver on a tight course with lots of bunkers and water. Didn’t put yourself in forced situations. A crazy good round of golf. I recently switched to a wrist lock utilizing switch grip, & it honestly feels amazing! Since I'm putting switch grip, I don't have to mess with the loft of the putter after converting it like you do on an armlock.

Love the way you guys think your in rough when just off fairways. Over here in the UK the rough is at least 4inches high and sometimes almost a foot. Thanks for entertaining us

Grant, I really liked the second driver shaft. Your putter looked good and the irons too. You just need a little more on course time to get used too them and dial in your distances. Great video.

This is the kind of content I love to see, a good guy playing good golf. I hope we see more of this as well as some more 1v1s against talented amateurs. Don’t mind the occasional video with Tig, but I don’t think the constant collabs are gonna help you. This is what you do better than anyone else, stick with it.

When Grant and Mica played the pros, the pro’s iron shots and distance control on their putts is what outclassed G&M (Plus superior trash talk). Grant’s putting and short game definitely looked elevated to the professional level now he just needs the irons to get there.

One over with brand new clubs, no caddy and the wind was impressive. Scrambling was tour level. Keep the Graphite Design shaft ... driving was super straight.

Would love to see what you can do in a monday qual or something, I know you don't grind at the range super hard but your game is super consistent and you've got a great mental state to take on some tournaments.

I played there for the D3 national championship "warmup" tournament (can't remember what its called exactly) in 2019 and I played HORRIBLE but the course doesn't make you feel that bad because it is HARD. Windy and stormy days killed us haha. Love the content, keep it coming!
