Hey guys :) Depending on your size there may or may not be enough fabric on the bottom to create the skirt. If that happens, you can always cut the skirt out on another tshirt or on some stretch fabric. This is just what I was able to create using my XL tshirt.

Girl! What's so weird is I just found some newer videos of you and was so amazed at your talent!! Then I'm scrolling to the bottom and this video is what I remembered back in 2013, barely graduating high school. I was so into peplum styled dresses and blouses. You are the epitome of "Practice makes perfect!"

Sometimes I forget what video made me subscribe to channels in the first place. Today at work I received a shirt for our new promotion & large was the smallest size left. I googled peplum T-shirt to ask my manager if it was okay to diy it to fit me, that’s when I came across some screenshots of this tutorial. Many years later I’m finally doing the diy that made me subscribe.

Tried it out and I was really happy with the results. Had a 2XL Green Day shirt that I used as PJ's and now it's a cute peplum top. However, mine came out a little snug and I accidentally cut the neck-line a little too low, but I'll probably cover it up with lace or something. Other than that, it came out great! Thanks for the DIY! :D

Hey April! Do you think you would be able to clean up the neckline and armholes by using some leftover strips from the shirt or getting some matching jersey fabric and sewing the strips around the edges to create a nice hem (like the original collar, but at the new neckline). It would be neat if you made a video where you go back and make some of your transformations even better!

you are so creative! you have inspired me to take a chance on a quirky vintage knife pleated skirt which had an ugly pattern on the bottom and refashion it by cutting it off. however, I live in a small place and I can only sew by hand since I have no room or money for a machine. is it possible for you to show some diy w/o a sewing machine? that would help me a lot since it's been forever since I've sewn anything by hand and I really love watching your transformations, especially since I do a once a month thrift haul when my fav thrift store has everything for a dollar and i'm changing sizes due to my weight loss which means I want to not have to spend a lot on clothes until I reach my final size ( 45 lbs so far this year and went from a 3x/22 and 20 last winter to now a slightly roomy 16 and can even squeeze into a few forgiving mediums, woot!) so, if you could at least help with some fun hand sewing techniques that would be awesome!
