Today we check out the Kobra seated electric scooter from Falcon PEV. It's modern, comfortable, yet simple and clean design. LCD dashboard, clean cable management, padded seat cushion, adjustable rear suspension system, high quality kick stand, solid braking power, great tire traction, zippy off the line, and lots more. There's a lot of potential power in the 250W rear hub motor, though the top speed is 15.5 MPH. The learning curve is simple and fast, just hop on and ride off. It's a fun ride overall.

Great range, but folding capabilities would certainly enhance its desirability, for that mix between public transport (buses, trains) for long distance travel, and then short distance travel through towns and the linking road systems stemming out into neighbouring communities. Without the folding option it’s a little limited in its use, although still a wonderful design.

This looks FINE! Wouldn't mind having one. Though I would mostly want to ride it without the seat.
You got the wrong charger. It is the version for European voltage, with german plugin = called "Schuko".
But you can swap the input cable.
The problem: The charger starts at 180 V - 240 Volt.
But If you have US-power socket, it is 110 - 120 Volts.
Maybe it charges, but needs longer time.

Hi, watched the video, was impressed with the so called off road capability. After every spinal fusions hushand He does not want to be seen using walkers or well chairs. We can only walk a certain amount of time. My question is is the seat a justable to he his a little higher to head level.
Is a road permit and helmet required or is that dependent on which state you use it?

I guess the speed-limit is for legal reasons in Europe - for example here in Germany e-scooters are about to get legal on public roads IF they are not faster than 25 Km/h otherwise they fall in the class of motorbikes - so the limit is pretty smart ;)

Needs large, spacious storage baskets both in front on handlebars and behind the seat. Lithium ion batteries, good lights, loud horn, odometer speedometer and foldable for trunk in car portages.

Price is crazy high. Got a Segway Ninebot ES4 (ES2 with the extra battery) for $650. Now this looks so much more comfortable and much better ride and brakes, but the price is high. I can also get a seat for my ES4 for around $59-$79.

Id like to get one to carry in the boot of my car. The intention is to park my car maybe 1km from the beach, where there is easy parking, and then use the scooter to ride to the beach area. The I can go shopping, swimming etc. Key to this is confidence that my scooter won't be stolen. So having a facility to disable it and physically lock it around a tree or other fixture is critical. Sure someone can use bolt cutters but its rather obvious when there are people around. Some kind of GPS tracking would be great as well as a lock compartment. I don't like the idea of a remote control unless its water proof.
250W on that body.. how s the acceleration? I totally see the value of the seated scooters but I as an urban commuter i am more into standing scooters. Also super jealous of your cycle board :)

If I understood or misunderstood you went 21 miles & only used 1% of the battery? I find this hard to believe on a 10 amp battery. I would like to know what the real range of it is.
I'm shocked by the low speed. 15mph is ridiculous.
But I'm amazed the low price.
I am shocked too. This scooter looks like it should be able to do at least 30mph top speed. It has that sleek racer look. I've seen plenty e-scooters which from their appearance looks capable of relatively high speeds, but when I see the specs I'm like wow!! Is this for an kid/adolescent? 15mph is a zippy speed, but it's not a preferably fast speed especially for adults. When battery percentage depletes, so does the top speed. So then you will be going about 8-12 mph top speed when the battery power goes down. But if it had a top speed of 20 at least, then when the power depletes to about 40% it will top out at 15mph.
Except for the charge time. That scooter is going to work.

I have rented the lime scooters before and those seem to have a cruising speed of about 17 miles per hour indicated by their own speedometer and even going downhill it won't get above 19 miles per hour and the scooter I was on was the xiomi 365 but it did only have a range of around 10 Mi give or take a few miles I would like the idea of them releasing this scooter as a Bluetooth connected one so that way you could upload an image of your driver's license into the scooters database and the app would be able to look up the local laws and if you have a motorcycle license open Speed restriction 2 about 25 miles per hour on the scooter if you have a motorcycle license which 25 would be a bit difficult 20 seems like a reasonable speed for this thing at 250 continuous Watts.
Fantastic if only it had three wheels as i always had problems riding and and balancing a bicycle

I have a swagcycle pro the newest non pedal scooter, and a razor metro echosmart scooter, which was my first and i love, but its sooo heavy, the swag is amazing but the drawback is the battery is not replaceable on diy, you have to send it to the company pay ship pay for battery and labor, some people began doing diy battery replacing finally, but its to involved for myself, i want to look into kobra as my 3rd scooter, but i need to know about the battery on this, is it easily replaced
