Please, please, please could you speak some more about the notion of attachment as currency in contemporary psychology , and how separation might be overlooked or stigmatised, because it feels like theres something really important there. Also, when Jamieson talks about the drive pushing for separation, is that because it aims at the Real, beyond the alienation in the symbolic, touching of Zizek’s point about the death drive clearing away for the new?
