- Behind 20 three pointers and a team-high 31 points from Devin Booker, the Phoenix Suns powered their way to a 118-108 victory in Game 2 of the 2021 NBA Finals to take a 2-0 lead in the series. Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo had a 20 point 3rd quarter - the most points scored in a Finals quarter since Michael Jordan in 1993 - on his way to a 42 point, 12 rebound and 3 block performance in the losing effort.
The series now shifts to Milwaukee for Game 3, Sunday, July 11th at 8pm ET on ABC.

I hope the Suns win it all, but you are saying facts. Although I pick the Suns to win it all, if you ask me how the series is gonna end, I won't be able to answer that question. I won't be surprised if the Bucks win the next 2 in Milwaukee, neither if the Suns get a sweep (they have been talking and priding themselves a lot imo, which scared me that someone beats the hell out of them because they get motivated, but they get better every game, they back their words up every single time). They are so unpredictable these finals. Bothe teams have the exact same chance to win this series, although it's 2-0 Suns advantage. Don't sleep on either team.

And now people wanna complain about Bucks not getting calls and Suns getting all the calls? Suns shot 1 free throw in the first half, that came at the end of the 2nd quarter with seconds left before the half. Most of their free throws in game 2 came from intentional foul at the end of 4th quarter.

True but each one of them teams did have their super stars on the court at that same time. I do agree with you though. If the Lakers had gotten time off they would have been more durable. Would have won it again this year. However it’s been fun watching the Suns play ball. They really came together as a squad. That team work and chemistry. Just clicked together at the right time and right place for the right amount of time lol. I think CP3 deserves a ring as well as this Suns team for putting in that work.

I love my Suns but we have to bring it all home this season because I don't see them repeating. The Lakers will be better regardless if they make any moves in the off-season or during February trades, the Warriors will be better with Klay back on the floor and they may also pick up another superstar as I'm sure most every team will find a way to improve their roster. And if the Nets manage to keep everyone healthy next season I don't see anyone from the West beating a fully healthy KD, Kyrie and Harden.
Superstar teams aren't everything, the team has to play as a team and work well with each other. We've seen them fall apart when that doesn't happen. That's what makes the Suns so good, they work really well with each other and have great chemistry. One or even two people can't do everything.

It's the players not the coach's fault. Look at this play at 4:18 CP3 had so much time to shoot that, where's the close out? Remember Jrue's block on Booker's fastbreak layup? No other Bucks players were seen on that side of the court, they just assumed Suns were gonna score that.. Khris Middleton's defensive effort was trash tbh and he's not even putting the ball into the net.
Can't blame the coach when the players play like that. Bud tried to motivate his team, Giannis tried to motivate his team, but that's the result..?
