- The Moza Aircross 3 is the successor to the Aircross 2. It's a small-medium size portable gimbal with a twist! It folds in half to reveal more tripod mounting points, allowing you to hold the gimbal in a few different ways including the underslung mode. But just how good is the gimbal?

Thanks so much, really helpful video. I bought one of these recently and got as far as balancing it and turning it on/calibrating. But I got stuck when trying to connect it to the actual camera (camera/gimbal) not knowing they are connected via cable. Is it important to connect the camera to the gimbal? (It’s a cannon 90d) thanks again

I’ve been using the RSC2 mainly but I’ve had to buy an arm for it. Turns out the Aircross 3 fold problem was the little wires getting stuck in the fold so I managed to fix that by bending the wires the right way every time I fold - but of a pain but nice to have another useable gimbal!
Did they replace your gimbal when it broke?

Hey, thanks for watching! I have bought the Ronin SC 2 (And a Smallrig underslung handle) and I am sticking with that. I would prefer the Aircross of the controls didn’t get covered up by the arm in underslung mode, because it’s lighter and you don’t have to buy any extras. The SC 2 has a folded underslung mode but you can’t put the gimbal down so it’s a pain, and that’s why I bought the Smallrig Arm.
@@ChrisSpice thank you Chris. so you think it is better for me to buy aircross 3 instead of ronin sc2. What about stability? I use a6400 which doesn't have ibis. Which do you think stabilize better, aircross 3 or ronin sc2?
@@reswaratravel1040 If you’re happy that the controls are covered up in underslung mode then it’s probably a better deal at the moment if you can get your hands on one. They’re both very stable so you will be fine with either - Aircross 3 is stable if you set the motor strength yourself and don’t use the auto calibration

Hi, can you help me? I have a problem with sleep mode on moza aircross 3, it always turns on. How to fix it?
You should contact MOZA as I never had this issue so may be a software fault. Make sure you have the latest software on there too.
Make proper balancing camera and glimbal.. Pan /roll 🍥/etc.. Then go to settings and calibration.. Will be fixed..

I heard the joystick fell off for some people. Has that been an issue with you or anyone else?
The Gimball is solid, it is not professional. Moza has terrible customer service. But I am amazed by the combination of Slypod Pro + Aircross 3 is a very solid 5 axis.

Pretty nice basic gimbal, but DJI has more bells and whistles plus a more developed ecosystem.
Of course, unless you’re into Moza’s ecosystem with the Slypod!

Moza Aircross 3 looks good, too bad the RS3 had just come out making this outdated.
The gimbal industry is moving far too quick at the moment, we don’t need all this choice!
