    と言います。上手くできず、紙がいたんでしまって困ってました。
    柴崎先生は、教え方も優しくて何度も復習してくださるので覚えやすいです。

      450/400 Man I believe they meant it’s better if the paper doesn’t warp. The subtitles in the video are kinda confusing in that regard

      柴崎先生は(下手)なところが魅力なんだよね。勘違いしてほしくない。下手なところもその人の個性。棟方シコウさんが(巧み)かな?デッサン無茶苦茶でも自由な造形意志で版木製作してるよね?..芸術の(本質)のひとつは(楽しんで多産出来る事。)...単純な事だけど(ドキっ)とする人は多いよね笑?..そうなんだよね。笑。技術じゃなく..楽しんで多産出来る人生を送れるかだ。生活が出来ない?なら(芸術家)なんて言うな、だ笑。

      (絵画研究者)柴崎先生の話は..いつ聞いても楽しい。笑。先生の長年の絵画描法の試行錯誤で生まれた極意。ぼくも水彩研究は大好き。柴崎先生も大好き💕その芸術家魂!先生の人間魅力はまさにその飽くなき絵画姿勢。

    以前から、紙も筆もごく一般的なものを使用されていらっしゃるのに、出来上がりがとてもきれいなことに気付いていました。水を吸う暇がないくらい的確に素早く筆を動かせるからだと感心していましたが、それにもましてこういうテクニックもあるのですね。そういえばよくパレットに水分をたっぷり張って色を作っていました。ちまちまと何回も継ぎ足して色を作るのは、色の濃度も安定しないし、確かにまだら塗になってしまいます。マジックは種を明かせば「なーんだ」という事になりますが、ギャラリーをあっと言わせるには地道な練習と努力ですね。それにしても先生は、描いて、教室で教えて、定期的に個展も開いて、時々料理、その上you tube、何てタフなんでしょう!(以前の入院が信じられません)

    いつも私は思った以上に薄く塗ってしまい、乾いてから重ねて塗り直すことを繰り返していました。紙をぼよぼよにしてはいけないというのは、勉強になりました❗

    When I first started taking watercolor lessons, the first 2 lessons were about how to soak the paper properly and how to mount the paper on a board or frame. Lesson 3 was how to lay down a wash in left to right stripes. Now, Shibasaki- san has shown me the RIGHT WAY to do it! Thank you, Sensei !

      But this is not very good either. You can already see it in the video, where his first wash is drying and it is getting patchy. Of course, this might be the look you aim for, but even on a very good paper, it will be blotchy.

    You are truly a magician! Basically it's to avoid creating those puddles of paint and water and spreading it evenly on the page into different directions. Thank you for the wonderful advice!
    Edit: I'm glad that I can use watercolor sketchbooks again. I never like the ones with glued paper.

    本当にありがとうございます。
    私は水彩画を絵を描き始めた頃によく練習してましたが、いつも塗りがムラムラしてて紙もベコベコになっていました。
    絵の先生や周りの上手い人に聞いても、「タッチが荒いね」「水のコントロールが出来てないね」とばかり答えました。
    そんなこと見れば分かるよって思いながらも、どんなに練習してもうまく行かず、いつの間にか水彩を半端諦め、デジタルやつけペンに徹してました。
    今日柴崎先生の動画を観て、私にとっての「水彩画の謎」は解けたような気がします。
    今思うと、確かに「上手い」と思った人は先に絵の具を紙に置いてから描いてた気がします。
    一つの動作のように思えた「描く」を、「絵の具を置く」と「形を整える」の2つの工程に分けて行うこの描き方こそ、
    修正の効かないコントロールも難しい水彩の正しい描き方だと思います。

    I have never come across anyone who teaches this method of coloring! Its always recommended to stretch the paper, and you are the first person who didn't do that.

    I had no idea how to keep the paper from bubbling up and denting! This is SO helpful! We never learned this in art class at all! Our teachers told us to put tape along the edges but it did nothing to stop the paper from being wavy! Thank you so much!!

    Thank you very much for this! I am a painter by profession, but my area of expertize is oil and egg tempera on hardboard. Lately, I've been trying to make some light illustrations and thought watercolor would be way more suitable for that, but while general technique feels good to me, some technicalities were giving me the trouble. Things are very different from using heavy body paints, heh. Your video just solved one my dilemmas :) ありがとうございます、先生
