I wish if this show is going worldwide to not only the UK but also in Canada, USA & other countries. Also this is my favorite Musical for i'm hoping in the near future could bring this show to my home country Canada & other countries in the future.
I just want this show to come back to Australia, cause I missed out the first time it came around

Jeff Wayne is a genius! His 1979 version of "War of the Words - the musical" is epic! It inspired me to write "Dumpster Diver the Musical". (DumpsterDiverMusical.com) Thank you, Jeff Wayne. I'm hoping to get to Amsterdam to see this musical!

Gone to every show in Glasgow except 2006 as never knew about it then and the Life Begins Again Tour was just as brilliant as the previous shows and gets better and better with each tour
Jeff waynes version is just superb, I've never got tired of listening to it, and the voice of Mr burton will always be the best ever. Is it only me that thinks Jeff Wayne hasn't aged at all.

excited the show is doing another run! eternally sad that it's still stuck in europe u - u i've wanted to see it since i was a kid and i've never had the means to travel across the pond,, i almost surely wont come next year. i'll hold out for that sliver of hope that i get an opportunity to go, though.
I saw final arena tour, the 40th tour and now I’m hoping to see this tour. Ps I think I was one of the fist to find out about this tour, as I found out today in my lunch break.

Literally every touch has been awful. The 60s one that just exists, the awful short closeted man version produced by the woman who killed Star Wars, that BBC one which is just a "women can do it too" statement and the Fox one that just should have been named something different. Anything War Of The Worlds should go through Jeff Wayne

Thank you for this incredible piece of work that has been a huge part of my life since I was a wee boy that saved up my pocket money to buy this, my very first album, way back in the sweltering summer of 1976.

This is fab! Wow! was brought up to Jeff Waynes war of the worlds album as a baby.. And now my children are huge fans also! We saw the Original LIVE show with Richard Burton Narration before the new generation! It was absolutely incredible, Me and my dad have a copy of the new generation and once again absolutely Incredible! Jeff Waynes Version of War of the Worlds will Live off forever for generation to come.

I am really upset that the true story of the martain invasion never happened! This trailer made it sound so cool and it got cancelled. I really hope it will go back in business one day.

I'd argue Mary Shelley's Frankenstein was the first real Science Fiction story, though, although I'm obsessed with War of the Worlds.
Shelly's Frankenstein was the first SciFi novel, but I think War of the Worlds was the first Alien Invasion novel?
Also they should really put the show in Las Vegas, it would fit right in!
Ironically I live near Borsel Common. Which is where the first martian cylinder lands in the book/ musical. 😅

If it dose it needs to be first person survival horror. Running from a towering tripod in an open field in a first person perspective would be terrifying.
It was a story that was commenting on colonialism and human nature. It was basically saying how things wouldn’t be different if Mars attacked earth.
I’m still thinking of a stop motion film about the war of the worlds and I mean Every single scene would be ripped from the pages of the novel

They should do a do a proper film version of WOTW. All remakes seem to set the tale in the present and in the US. I wish someone could set it in the time it was written and in England. It is an Edwardian period piece and very, very English. That is its its charm and power.
It's quite hard for me to even comprehend that comment as I woke up about 3 minutes ago but judging by what I can comprehend do you realize that Jeff Wayne's war of the worlds is set in the exact same year that the original war of the world's was either made or set in, right? Meaning that it's some years before the 20th century. And it is also most certainly in the UK. But that part is VERY obvious.
