80's RnB Throwback: Soul II Soul - Keep On Movin' (with lyrics)

A club anthem from the late 80's and one which still gets the crowd on the dance floor with its infectious, unique beat and became the inspiration for so many other similar sounding tracks of the time.
The group Soul II Soul began life as a DJ Sound System playing at the Africa Centre in London in the 80's. By 1988 the official line-up of the group were comprised of Jazzie B, Caron Wheeler, Doreen Waddell, Rose Windross, Daddae, Aitch B, and Jazzie Q.
The group released their first single "Fairplay", with Rose Windross on lead vocals which to this day is still highly played by many DJs, however only reached no. 63 in the UK charts at the time.
"Keep on Movin' was the second single released from Soul II Soul's hugely successful triple platinum debut album 'Club Classics Vol. One' and introduced the group to a wider audience not just in the UK but worldwide. The song featured the vocals of Caron Wheeler and was released in March 1989 and reached no. 5 in the UK and no. 11 in the US.
They later followed it up with their next huge hit "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)" which peaked at number 1 on the UK Singles chart.
Although the group line-up has changed, members Jazzie B and Caron Wheeler are still touring and performing around the world.
