funny you say you want a self cleaning protein skimmer. Smarter reefs has a self cleaning protein skimmer. They also have a filter roller + self cleaning protein skimmer in one device which I have and it is working amazing. You already have a great red sea filter roller so they also offer the self cleaning protein skimmer by itself. But the bad thing is that it is huge so check the dimensions before you buy it.

Its good to add them at night when the fish arent active like they usually are during the day and so the copepods dont get eaten and can have time to hide in the liverock while the fish are asleep

What size is this tank? 20 gallons? I know it's easy to get carried away but at least buy a bigger tank That's appreciate for rhe amount of fish you want and the size , That tank is way to small and your going to have alot of problems and fish loss for keeping so many fish in a small tank.

@@Coral-reef. the best thing u can do is to give him a bigger home.250 galon is a minimum. They need a loooooot of space. 90% of the people simply does not have the space in their home to hold one of these.
Ur bluetang will probaply die when the tank is too small. thats why he is nervous. The shown tank in the video is mabye enough for the occelaris clownfish but definitly not for a blue tang or a angelfish.
This is a really bad example + naked without any corals and too small. Even if its a beginner tank ...u dont buy a bluetang and an angelfish in the first months. I would suggest after 6-9 months.. When u got enough micro fauna in ur tank.
Im getting angry because of such examples. The reputation of Nemo and Dory did the best to kill a lot of these real fishes in real life. this is an exmaple !
