      Hi Gordon, in that case you're filtering for dates that are equal to today OR less than or equal to today +60 days. So it'll be something like:
      ReminderDate/all (r: r eq 'formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd') or r le 'formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),60),'yyyy-MM-dd') )

    Excellent tutorial! I would be curious though if there is a way for it to only send the email for a task once (i.e. such as a week before the due date, instead of every day leading up to it)? Also, what happens if you don't remove tasks from the list? Does it only pull from tasks that are after the current date?

    • @MyOnlineTrainingHub
      @MyOnlineTrainingHub  Před 2 lety +2

      Thanks, Christopher! With the method I've shown it will only send it once, on the 'reminder date'. The process runs every day to pick up any new tasks that have a reminder date of today. If you don't remove tasks from the list it won't matter as it filters the list to display only those tasks that have a reminder date of today using the utcNow function.

    Hello! thank you for this! unfortunately I keep getting errors and was hoping you could help. The initial test worked but the daily test fails consistently. I got it back going again yesterday... i didnt change anything. It just suddenly started working again. but today it keeps saying "InvalidTemplate. The execution of template action 'Create_HTML_table' failed. The column values could not be evaluated: 'In function 'formatDateTime', the value provided for date time string '44909' was not valid. The datetime string must match ISO 8601 format.'." I have 12/14/2022 in the excel cell and the cell is formatted as a date. is this because you put the day in front in Australia? but your formula was MMM d, YYYY, and I have it set to eastern standard time, and it worked yesterday so I dont understand what is happening... any suggestions??

    • @MyOnlineTrainingHub
      @MyOnlineTrainingHub  Před rokem

      It sounds like a date format issue. The ISO 8601 date format is yyyy-mm-dd, hence my expression: formatDateTime(convertFromUTC(utcNow(), 'E. Australia Standard Time'), 'yyyy-MM-dd')
      It's only in the HTML formatting that I use mmm d, yyyy and I doubt it is at this point the problem occurs. Note: that you cannot use the TODAY() function to return dates for use with Power Automate due to the ambiguous location of the Power Automate servers and how they will determine the date returned by TODAY().
