  • This is the first installment in our TRAns-Atlantic series! Join Thom as he travels on a 26-hour journey from Michigan to the Netherlands.
    On the first leg, we follow Thom as he flies on American low-cost carrier Frontier. The A320 brings him from Grand Rapids to Orlando, and Thom has a very special ticket. He flew sitting in seat 1A! What was that like? Is it any different from all the other seats? And why is he making this trip in the first place? Find out in this TRAns-Atlantic video. Subscribe for more train and flight reviews coming soon!

    Since no one commented about the large seatbelt, I figure I will. It is actually an airbag. Because row 1 is a bulkhead seat, there would be nothing to stop you from getting injured in the event of a crash. Unlike the other seats where you can use the seat in-front of you to cushion the forces.

    In row 1, can you put a bag under your feet or in front of you? Is there overhead space for the carry on?

    I’ll be flying with Frontier in August and I’ll be sitting in seat 2D.. I wanted to sit in 1A, but I don’t like to bother the people sitting next to me when I need to use the restroom..

    you barely spent time on the inside as titled rather... you shared a whole trip. next time please label / title correctly. THANKS for considering. Still liked it. :)))

      @Thom-TRA  Před rokem +2

      The title is flight review, from GRR to MCO, in seat 1A. All things i covered. Sorry you don’t like the amount of time I spent on each, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with my title and I will not be changing it.
