- Basically, you just need To use the Aegis Arm, hold block WHILE constantly tapping The l1 button. This will cause you to parry 95% of hits. So just sit back and get easy critical's due to the boss getting staggered eventually.
Heal when you get caught with an attack ofcourse.
I also changed my upgrades so my Legion would heal more n i had more consumables n guard regain , tho it wasnt needed.
** Apparently this 'strategy' was patched recently, so yeah **
No cheese for the eventual dlc i guess. 😢 😜

My legion was used up when he had 1/4 health bar left, so I used throwables to finally kill him.
Looking back.. i cant believe i got that block/parry off right after healing, @ 2:33

I only just learned you can still attack while using the shield the other day. Learn something new everyday😂
How were you able to use the Aegis without taking any damage? I am trying to figure out how you're holding that up and getting hit but not even taking chip damage. Can you explain? I am trying to take this bastard down.
if you have your back against the wall with the Aegis protection it is much easier as he won't throw you back and you can easy land 3-4 hits each time! Cheeeeeese!

How come when I watch these videos, he doesn't do the 783 hit combo like he does when I play?
Because this is clearly easy fast kill for him, including him getting hit a bunch of times and with a huge health bar saving him 😂
@@IcedEdge17 I get it man. When a boss is wrecking you & you're completely raging n salty, it's frustrating seeing vids of ppl beating the boss that feels impossible for you. You'll calm down once you finally win.
He did his spinning combo in his 2nd phase; the Aegis cheese just perfect guarded the hits.
Also since I'm perfect guarding him so much, he's staggering a lot rather than hopping around n being a prick like usual. That's why I looked it up n found this method, cuz I was getting beaten badly otherwise.
I just commented above about the Aegis but it looks like you're using the hold Aegis and tapping L1, right? Does that still work today?@@Styles_Breez
@@tyler07 I'd assume so; I haven't played since getting 100% 1.5 weeks ago, but I don't see why they'd remove this strategy now.
& yea, I had the Aegis upgraded to the 3rd level, & would just hold it in use (where it is out & glowing red/orange) while constantly tapping the parry button. After each flurry of attacks that I'd perfect guard, I make sure to stop using Aegis momentarily so my stamina can regen & so my Legion stops getting used. Then when the boss is gonna attack again, I initiate Aegjs & start tapping parry again.
& like in the video, try to hit the boss with charged r2s whenever it's safe. & you'll stagger em in no time.
Just tried this and the Aegis barely blocks anything and I just end up staggered??

@@user-tk3eh4xt8f yea I'm currently lv 100 n still not close to the end.. but lots of stuff that's pretty bunk in lotf. The God awful targeting not being fixed after 244433 patches is pretty silly & rage inducing especially.
Played Lies Of P after Lords Of The Fallen. Can confirm, LOTF is garbage compared to LOP. I was like « I’m never touching that game ever again »
Happened to me, bought it because the good reviews, but I hate it! I think it’s way worse because I’m comparing it to Lies
Is this an advanced build? I'm going to save this for my NG+ play. I did use that weapon, but I'm like hitting him with a bread. I use the same strategy but with a bone blade+ and dancer hilt. I managed to beat him after 30+ tries finally. Does tech+adv build okay?

Agreed. I had this method carry me through ng+ too, all the way to the platinum. Besides the Simon fight that is.. that one doesn't mesh well with Aegis I felt.
Not a cheese bro you had a strategy and took advantage of the openings. I had to do the same thing while using poking attacks with acid crystal spear and finished off with some nasty throwabels. I took me over 20 attemps 😅
Idk, being able to just constantly tap l1 & get free parries & then crits... seems cheesy. But the devs didnt patch it so.... idk
Are you just holding L2 on the Aegis? Is it max level?
I had it 1 level from max.

I did the same but I used that acid spear
NG+ this guy has too much health and damage and stamina. I went no deaths up til him and I can’t beat him to get my Plat
It took me 3 tries but I used this same cheese strategy to beat him on ng+.
I actually had a much harder time vs Simon on ng+, even with a spectre w/ 3 heals.
Use my method. It's so easy, even in ng+3
@@Father_Veteran_Gamer_Artist Your method is the same as this one, except you're not perfect guarding & thus are taking massive damage on every fatal attack you facetank.
When boss becomes red and load up the shield doesn’t seem to work.

It's explained in the description n other replies, but hold Aegis (after it explodes n isn't glowing anymore) n constantly tap l1.
Yes, this was patched. It was an exploit that doesn’t work anymore. But still decent strategy if you can’t perfect guard, just need more legion and need to mix in regular guarding etc.

Heye , i use also the aegis but if i hold the aegis L2 i can't tap the L1 button , nothing happened : do i something wrong then ?

Yeah. It did work but honestly I ended up beating it with the dragon sword by using the special parry move it has. You hold R2 and let go at the right time. It deals big damage. Tough to time but that’s what made the difference.

Because you can abuse the Aegis by just using it n constantly Tapping parry.. meaning you perfect guard 95% of attacks automatically & stagger the boss very fast.
So you can constantly perfect guard without fear of taking big damage by mistiming a perfect guard attempt. It's broken as heck & am surprised it's not fixed by now.
@@Styles_Breez In my opinion, a cheese is standing in a doorway a mob can't get to and whittling him down. I think you won fair and square. I have trouble with that Aegis for some reason.
@@GonzoJohn733 Agree to disagree then. But this is the closest thing you'll get in regards to an easy victory on that fight. I'm not sure how you aren't able to use the Aegis as described, it's just holding it in use while tapping parry.
I faced the same situation as well in NG+ but I just beat this boss by using Aegis with Trident of Covenant.
The problem was that I pressed down Aegis the whole time while stabbing the boss and my stamina was running out. Hence I couldn’t block the damage.
You need to carefully monitor the bars. Release Aegis depending on boss move set and consume some Legion Magazines once it ran out half way. Keep stabbing and do not get greedy.
For me Simon in NG+ was the pain. It took me two days to kill Simon… now i can move on from it. No more NG++

Whats your p organ build like?
Before this fight, I changed my build so that i had all of the guard regain/legion consumable heals more/more stagger abilities. But it didn't matter much since I was able to beat the boss easy with this strategy.
Before I changed the p-organ, I had abilities like more wishcube uses, faster wishcube activation, more ergo per enemy killed, etc.

Aegis has been patched in the latest update, no longer triggering perfect block while holding L2

Took a couple heals on my 3rd try.. n most of those heals weren't even needed. I'd say that's pretty easy.

Yes easy and fast, not easy fast and no damage. I get it, you couldn’t beat him, don’t take your no skill anger out on him

I already did ng+ & platinumed the game by now, so I don't exactly recall.
Tho i'd say I was around lv109?
Stats were roughly:
Health: 30
Stamina: 27
Capacity: 28
Strength: 36
Technique: 5
Advance: 35
Played 1 hour of lords of the fallen it sucks......
I thought it was pretty good after learning the combat n getting past Pieta. The reoccurring game-breaking/quest-trophy breaking bugs aren't fun though.. even if the devs release updates every week still .
It's WAYYYYY easier than Lies of P though.
Hundred times better than this shit game. And I’ve just completed it. Spent 40 hours. I’m happily go backto Lords and do another 165 hours there rather then spend more time on this cliche of a clone.
I completed LotF and really enjoyed it. Certainly a different feel from Lies of P, that I just completed. When Lies first came out, I thought it looked a bit clunky, but from all the praise I read about, I decided to give it a try. They were right, Lies is a really good game. Just quite different from LotF.
