Anytime a vegetarian or a vegan tries to pull that tried old trope out of the conversational bag just ask them if they know what it takes to prepare an acre for planting. Ask them if they know how many frogs, snakes, voles, etc. are killed and how many bird's nesting areas destroyed when they bring down trees to create acreage.
