The mother dog is a golden retriever. Her pups, have needle sharp teeth at that age. They now need to eat puppy food to protect mom’s teats.
I hope whoever filmed the mother dog saving her puppies actually help the mommy and puppies with a warm place and a blanket
TYVM from saving me having to say the same thing. It truly irritates me to no end when videos show the suffering animal for a long time while whoever is filming does nothing.

My Corgi - Border Collie mix paid no attention to the howls. She actually gave me a look that said, "Are you bored yet?" She's a working herd dog for our sheep, goats, and sometimes ducks. The only time she gets excited is when the ponies or the cows won't come to our calls. She thinks that a 'call to duty' and then she gets excited and noisy.

I’ve seen so many videos of cats doing this and saving toddlers from falling down a flight of stairs or swatting a dangerous object away. I had no idea cats did anything remotely close to that haha.

Annoying people with the mother cat & kitten with its claw stuck…hint: kittens cannot retract their claws, and can be injured without assistance removing the claw from whatever material it’s stuck in. We don’t see the claws catching in nature, but in human materials-we are responsible to help.

One more thing- Don’t breed.
I for one have never understood why some people put clothes on their pets, unless they are cold or have a skin condition that requires some extra protection. Not only do the pets lose all dignity, but they can no longer really adapt their body temperature, lick or scratch an itch. They may get caught on any object that juts out. Please, do not treat them like babies, but like animals with animals’ needs.

@@Pisces-1978 We have a house on what was rice fields and so all sorts of creatures come by, these are removed and put in wooded areas etc. Nothing is harmed not even the venomous snakes, haven't had any squeezy ones as yet though they have been seen around.
Awe the last one. It's so sad dogs don't live as long as we do.

@@sandrastevens4418 I agree. The foxes I'm mentioning were saved from Fur Farms. They can't survive in the wild. Its a great program run by wildlife rehabilitation experts who will release in the wild if they can survive. Unfortunately, the fur trade continues and I appreciate the people who take care of wild animals that can't live in the wild because of greedy humans.

I know my neighbor has a fox that was rescued from a fur farm.
He cannot survive in the wild.
I just made the comment because people see a clip of a fox on a leash like a dog on social media and like sugar gliders another wild animal they want one.
And think they can tame a wild animal.
They don't understand that eventhough they cannot return to the wild. They also cannot live in a house like a pet. The fox my neighbors have lives outside in an enclosure. If you approach it carefully it will come to you as long as you don't enter its marked territory.
He is on a special diet Foxes spray to mark their territory and it smells close to getting sprayed by a skunk.
This is why I made the comment.
To many people take animals from the wild and think they can tame it.
Wolves are my favorite animals however it would never enter my mind to think about getting a wolf dog or pet wolf.
I have adopted 2 wolves through a charity for wolf protection. But I have 3 dogs, instead of wolves.

As summer is here I want to STRONGLY WARN EVERYONE about what you just saw in this clip that is not a unique event: NEVER try to approach a Sea Lion.or Seal if you are visiting sea shores and are not familiar with our wild life. Please come and enjoy place in America where we live but even though they are made into "cute" roles in family films, wild seals and sea lions should NEVER be touched and MUST be admired from a good distance. They are nervous and they have the bite of a BEAR and can kill a child or adult. Be more careful if there are pups. No different than getting near bears with cubs except bears can run much faster. But do go to city Piers and tourist spots set up for safe viewing taking photos, sea food, etc. That man here on the boat who reached down and patted the sea lion.wad a lucky fool. 'Lucky' to still have his hand / all his fingers.
it was kinda funny how he was cursing out the man, and yes be carefull with sea lions and seals, they are fast with the bite and can leave nasty wound, my dad was a sealion trainer and he got bit by a baby sealion and couldnt move one of his fingers the rest of his life
Seals have a nasty bacteria in your mouth, if you get nipped but by one prepared to spend a lot of time in the hospital

We had Walrus wandering here last summer ftom Atlantic, we don't have those naturally. She was here for obvious reasons: old and and disoriented, that's why she was lost. She came to harbor, then swam up the river and camped ,(was dying) and people were told to stay away and not to cause stress. What people did? Went to take photos/selfies and trashed the yard of that homeowner. Police had to be there 24/7 to keep people away.
Then the walrus died and idotic people screaming why nothing was done. People are so out of touch with death and natural deaths of animals

Ya that was my first thought, chances are that didn't end as well as she thought, also you don't want to handle rodents like rabbits or squirrels etc because you get your human scent on them and the moms are more likely to kill the babies.

I am extremely a animal lover,and when I was watching the beginning of the video,it was so disturbing to me how 🤔 anyone could be so cruel to leave this beautiful puppy to fend for himself with maggots in his injuries. I've rescued pitties, and have always worried about them getting hurt protecting me. I'm sure I'd do the same, &/or we'd work like a pack.
We had a big racoon living in our barn last summer we camped in our travel trailer on our lot while they were remodeling the entire inside of our house.
I don't mind raccoons but our dogs were outside most of the day and inside at night.
Raccoons sleep during the day and are active at night.
The raccoon was one of the biggest ones I had ever seen one day my dogs smelled it and woke it up it climbed up to the rafters. I got my dog's Away into the trailer.
Raccoons and dogs can be very dangerous Raccoons don't see very well and so to defend themselves against an attack they will use their sharp claws at what they can see a dogs eyes and will scratch their eyes out.
The best thing to use against raccoons is vinegar they hate the smell of off vinegar and so do dogs so my husband went and bought about 5 gallons of vinegar the white distilled kind and I doused the barn with it.
It had the effect we wanted racoon left and dogs stayed out of the barn.
She wasn't even a "lady", I think she was, like, 14.
Why is it good to take your dogs and attack wildlife? She should get jail time for that, as if its not enough bating the bear, she encourages her so called pets to fight with it!

The hiker who encountered the cougar got very lucky. Those cats might not be as big as some of the other wild cats, but they can still be very dangerous. But, he did the right thing. He yelled and made noise, while backing up and keeping his eyes on the animal.
Most cougars are going to do that if they claim a spot of territory, but if you lead them out of that zone of territory, they will notice and probably stop, unless their hungry.
Supposingly she is a mama and was scaring him away.
I don't understand why he didn't start throwing large bricks at it. I suppose it's easier to think when I'm watching a video, rather than actually having a murderous little monster threatening me

What I wonder is why, with all those rocks, he didn’t just throw a few in the general direction of the cougar? That would have done the trick, and if it didn’t, a bigger rock at the cat would have. Think! Thats how we got to the top of the food chain.

Thanks for posting this, I was about to type the same basic thing. Ascribing malicious intent to an animal makes me cringe. Deer and elk love pumpkins and my neighbor's flowers.
