DUDE STOP SKIPPING ALL THE TEMPLES
The Yiga are a great example of perspective. To Link, they’re so pathetic that every single member of the clan is a joke. To practically anybody else, they’re terrifying. Trained soldiers and assassins who can perfectly mimic your friends and family, teleport at will, manipulate the wind, and do all of that while LAUGHING in your face.

@edgytoucan3444 never heard of an “acme weight” but it makes an awful lot of sense if you mean it in the way i assume
I dunno if anyone has commented about it yet, but there actually is ONE single cooking pot in the entire depths and it’s located at the first yiga base you encountered (with the monocycle schematic). It’s interesting to me that they even included one in the first place haha.
I'm imagining this as Link lost his gear so he thought "fuck it. Yiga redemption arc!" and or he pretended to be a Yiga whose only intention was to destroy the clan and get revenge on the chaos they caused the Sheikah by existing lol.
I'm grateful that the developers put all these yiga items and quests within the game as now so many yiga fans can live out their dreams of wearing the armour while also having their mystical abilities.
Honestly having a unarmed combat system in totk would have been awesome, with abilities from different groups like the yiga stone spire, some swiftness move from the rito, or some body slam from the gorons, that kind of stuff

FYI: Wind Razor deals 10 base damage, but the damage from your Fused item and any weapon modifier on the Eightfold Longblade is added to the projectile's base damage.
Themed run suggestion: the Lynel only run, it’s self explanatory, you can wear the lynel mask and the barbarian pants and top. And you can only use the weapons dropped from lynels, one rule is that if you find a lynel, you either befriend it(using the lynel mask) or defeat it, or die trying.
how are you going to defeat the lynel and get its weapon with no weapons :)

@@ivespoken8902 There are four different locations in TOTK with chests that contain Savage Lynel bows, to my knowledge; one of them is in a chest in a camp by Mount Rozudo (is this the name in English? It‘s close to Hateno). Assuming this isn’t tied to internal level progression, you can probably start with this as your first weapon and then start farming Lynels, especially in the floating coliseum.

croton has taught me so much in botw and totk with very helpful tricks like elemental slashes and the quickspin
I would love to see you do a zonai device/engineering only run.
Imagine doing combat with small-angle pulse lasers, bee pulsers and pulse cannons while speeding through the land with a rail jet or an electric vehicle. I can confim that doing the Gerudo questline with a propeller gunship is really fun.

You can actually do Colgera without any weapon durability, when he's shooting his spikes up doge them and dive through the ice and you'll hit his webbing inside and it'll count. I figured that out on one of my playthrougs.

A great run indeed! I have another challenge idea, can you do a zonal run without using any weapon just their devices (and then ancient hero run that uses all the zonai weapons). Also Pitcher Link run where you throw everything to deal damage

I noticed the music at 1:29:19 was missing from your track list, so, for anyone who is interested in knowing what it is, it's a remix Through the Sea of Time, originally by Own Eye Music. While the original was taken down bc of French copyright laws, it has since been reuploaded by Internet Video Archive, which also uploaded several of the same artist's PMD remixes. I recommend checking them out! They're some of my favorites.
Fun fact Croton. Even the Yiga are terrified of the monsters and are always having territory disputes with em. So even a Yiga can't ally with a monster.
Is this actually seen in game? I never see Yigas and monsters fight, only constructs and monsters

I actually did a yiga run after my first play. It was really fun. I didn't even know there was a guy in a well. I just went to the plateau and threw stuff at the yiga until the bridge
I believe this was the first Yiga I ever saw in TotK - figured it would be a perfect way to start this run! (plus 2 easy weapons)
