    This is very well presented. I have been using AISCM's for twenty years, and this was helpful -- I have always done beam- columns with the specification formulae; now I would be just as comfortable using Table 6-1. Students at UWP are fortunate to have this professor -- such opportunities to learn of great value.

      No, Table 6-1 is for standard W-shapes. Table 6-1 is also not available in the new manual, which now has a "super table" that you can use to find the factored design capacity for each limit state directly.
