This worked in real life aswell I may not have a kitchen anymore but the Semtex worked a charm at remiving the rats thanks for the advice

Im am a Semtex and Thermite user cuz the thermite burns them alive and its satisfying, and semtexes either when i coudnt reload in time, i also use them for rats that use shields.

@@spydr1919 just step to the side? Walk out of the fire? With bomb squad, you can stand in the fire for 2 full seconds. So that’s actually pretty easy to survive. Semtex is better. If you stick, I die unless there’s a floor gun to switch to and run.

thermites are actually safer than either option, since if they run at you, the explosion won't one tap you with them, it'll just give your armor a little kiss.

Its pretty Op if you use correctly.
If you get a direct hit, that person is dead.
It can also block entrances and if someone runs through one, you can turn and preshoot where you thrown the molotov and down or kill that target as they'll take damage when running through the fire.
Molotovs are good and so are crossbows with explosive tips. Drill charges can be good but switching weapon can cause this to fall off

I just saw riot shielder slowly crawling to me, I looked at him, he looked at me, we stopped fighting for a second, I prepared the semtex and he looked at me with respect as it detonated, i'll never forget him.

I remember in the MW 2019, I'd always keep a thermite in my class EXCLUSIVELY for these types of guys. Only problem was I normally play hardcore, so I never really cared if there was a teammate nearby...but at least the rat was gone!
I personally use thermites, and stun grenades work really well if you have ran out of thermite, because the stun grenades as well as shock charges stop them from being able to move fast so you can easily get behind them or to their side where they're vulnerable, usually most shield players use shields due to the fact that they're inexperienced in fast and unpredictable movements, so to make up for this they will use double up along with their riot shield so they have more freedom, it's also smart to run double up yourself when countering a shield pest, so you can be just as agile as they are and will have more long jumping to their side and popping shots, it also doesn't hurt to use dragon's breath, so if you manage to land a hit on them with your shotgun, it'll do a fairly decent amount of damage and keep their health lower for a second, drill charges, molotovs, semtex, and cooked grenades also work pretty well too, and even proximity mines work well for keeping distance if they try to switch to a melee and charge you, the second they switch from their shield to their potential melee weapon secondary, throw down a proximity mine and it has a great chance of stopping them in their tracks, so basically to stop a shield pest, you need to have a lot of mobility, and make good utilities of BOTH tactical and lethals.

Also explosive bolts on the crossbow are essential like Semtexs just faster but I don’t see many people using the crossbow so it’s a kind of underrated way to deal with riot shields
The Molotov also works really well if you can aim well enough

I found the drill charge a bit more usefull, but if the rat had done his homework, it would know that changing weapons when the shield has a drill charge on it can actually save him.
So yeah, extra points to the semtex.

This is one of this reasons why I mainly use stemtex like easy shield take out easy for clearing corners some times ect
You can actually attach an underbarrel drill charge to your gun and use that while leaving you with whatever lethal
Someone should create a dedicated team that hunt riot shield players exclusively, call em pest control
I just use it to figure out situations and make my decisions easier. I dont camp what is wrong with me using it. I use it for defense and typically get repetitively killed without it.

The kamas and some solid movement will also do the job. One good jump and they're done.
Crossbow with explosive charge or termite charge, the cocktail also work well... and semtex and drill charge are easily avoidable with a quick weapon switch and bomb squad.
I've learned that it is possible to survive thermite and molotovs if you time a stim accurate enough
The one problem with the drill charge is that if you hit the shield too high, the charge can be launched far enough away that the explosion is survivable. Always aim for the bottom of the shield!

I remember Riot shields in CS 1.6 you shoot feet when they're standing up and when they're crouching shoot their knees
Most other Lethals work in a pinch too. But tacticals can help. I use thermite and Molotovs most frequently against them.
Personally I love the drill charge mainly cause you get to watch the enemy player utterly panic for about a split second
or just weapon switch and negate it
The shock stick will make them completely defenseless if they are anywhere near it and will stick to them no matter what and tilts the shield to the side so you can still kill them from the front

When I run into these meat sticks in search and destroy, I switch my laser out for blast caps on the OL’crossbow. Gets them every time. As someone who only uses crossbow. It’s quite satisfying
the only problem with the sticky Grenade is that when you throw it at someone they might just sprint full speed at you and suicide bomb you
The absolute confusion a player has when they stick the shield with a Semtex only to come back in after the shield and see he’s fine. (If you switch your shield with a floor gun and run you can survive)

You can also jump and shoot or melee them over their shield, alot tend to forget to look up to protect their head from it
The drill charge only works sometimes. I’ve stuck plenty of people with a drill charge while they’re using a riot shield, yet they don’t end up dying.
What about the Molotov?

I have been using Molotov, if you get direct hit it always works. And if its Hardcore hitting right next to them even works
@@door1852 Molotovs are insane area control, they are thrown pretty quick compared to others, if you hit someone even once with a gun a molly anywhere near them can easily finish them off, and they ALWAYS kill shield users. Mollys are the best lethal along with throwing knives, I kill people with them all the time and I'm diamond.🤷🏿♂️

when equipping the throwing knife, your melee goes from hitting the enemy with your gun to a knife. Using the melee button with the throwing knife goes through Sheilds for some reason
Explosive cross bow is a one shot kill for shields even if you only hit the shield
It also makes your melees insta kills, without the need for any other attachment bs.

Drill charges, semtex from front or behind, evasive menouvers to kill, if he/she has his/her riot shield out: then kill from behind.
My personal favorite is the drill charge, I like seeing them panic before their inevitable demise (why do I sound like a psycho lmaooo)
I just die because i only play shipment 24/7. Sometimes the game glitches out and the character is holding the sheild weirdly and you can shoot through but most others i just back up or do strange movements
Personally I love running thermite, it’s also amazing at anti-vehicle/scorestreak, and does decent damage to players
Now Im MW3, there is a flamethrower attachment that you can put on most ARs. So now you can Cook them in MW3
Nobody realizes the tactical uses of the riot shield
1 distraction you gain the enemy’s attention while a teammate flanks
2 Provide cover for teammates and yourself
3 good for breaching where a camper has laid claim
4 protecting your back from back shots
5 intimidation
keep your wits about and just be a menace

When I was going for riot shield kills for the gold, I figured out you can counter a Semtex by just holstering the shield
I always use semtex anyways so this is a win for me

I use the baton and riot shield on lockdown quads, and yell “STOP RESISTING” while I beat them to a pulp.
I remember when Dozer’s shield in BF2042 was just like that practically invincible against almost everything.

if the shield wielder is in a corner and the corners are exposed, you can throw a knife in and kill them in an instany
Personally I use the drill charge, at least for MP. Not only is it good for taking out riot shielders, it’s also good for taking out campers hiding in buildings or corners, and people don’t know what to do when they see it

Personally I think the drill charge is the rat exterminator because it goes throes walls and can also go through shields
You can also use the flamethrower attachment. It basically goes on every AR. It doesn’t loads of damage and it goes through right shields. Nice close range.

I luke how they wanted MW22 to be the most realistic one when you can literally block an entire missile with a plastic shield
In MW3 there is a under barrel flamethrower called Jak Purifier and it can wipe out the riot shields
After the newest battle rifle, I now run drill charge launchers on most of my assault rifles.
Being a rs user (but not a rat):
Fake reloads/weapon swaps are also effective (usually waiting for that, so we can switch)
Tacticals are double-edged
Faking in general
I use drill charges because it takes longer and makes them panic and is like the cerebral bore from Turok
Shock sticks push the shield to the side slightly allowing you to shoot the shield users btw

I pretty sure that anti armor rounds go straight through it. Not to be mistaken for armor piercing rounds
AP rounds can’t go through lvl 4 body armor so it makes since that no small arms can penetrate it since it looks like a bulky ballistic shield. But it stopping any rocket launcher is an exaggeration.

Hit them with a Molotov always works best for me no need of anything else to accurate not to miss
Molotov cocktails are also a good way to exterminate right Shields
The underbarrel gl is also helpful by shooting beside them
I miss MW2 where if you shot the shield enough, it would start famaging through it
