Icom IC-7700 is a good radio, I like its large frame but I wished that it would of had the dual receiver set up Like the IC-7600. In my opinion it's a much better radio than the Ts-990. Older amateur radio operators like the larger framed radios and the flexibility of a dual receiver. I personally like the IC-7600 but it's to small for me even though it's a nice radio. Icom keep up through good work. 73's KB9VRS

If the IC-7800 was the ultimate contest radio, why did ICOM make the IC-7851?

The 7800 was the top of the line when it was released in 2007. Fast forward to 2015 and we've been innovating and making our radios even better. The 7851 is the product of our hard work and innovation.

Ok icom I get the point. Icom 7700 is the best single receiver transceiver on the market but it's okay to have wishful thinking? 73's KB9VRS.
