I get that you want a title for your vids that is consistent and descriptive, but why do they all say “sad ending”? There is hardly anything sad about her ending. She had a very long and successful career, was married to a millionaire and lived a quiet and wonderful life until the age of 91. Hardly sad, other than we lost her. Quite frankly, I quit watching most of your vids because of these titles. While some of these people did have tragic lives and endings, many of them were very happy and lived very well.
The droning, somber narration is awful too.
Yes I find these titles an insult to my intelligence
I would have another person narrate, and also rethink these titles.
I agree! The narrator is not that good either! No sad ending here! Patricia Gambino Harrington
She was absolutely stunning and an absolutely wonderful actress
I always liked Greer Garson. I wouldn't say she had a sad ending though!
The narrator is ignorant and his delivery is abominable.
Her life surely wasn’t sad
Everyone dies.... and she lived a very long life 🌷
A decent comment by a reasonable person? I may faint now!
What a beautiful woman and a great actress! She did a fine job in all her film roles, but would have to say she was truly exceptional in 'Goodbye Mr. Chips', 'Mrs. Miniver' and 'Random Harvest'. Great movies! I don't find anything tragic about living 91 years.
I met her when I was in college. She was gracious. She called me beautiful.
😂
My name is Greer and I was named after this queen
She was so beautiful 😍
Change the darn title ......nothing sad . They gave us dreams , escapement , class and hrs of entertainment . Many lived long full lives . Always as anything tv or papers these days need put a sensationalist heading on all ! Disgusting .
I don't think their going to change the title of this odd series. They think that the 'sad ending' title will make viewers want to see what's so sad about the stars life. I persoanlly think it hurts the reputation of our beloved stars who have passed on.
These titles are so ridiculous… she didn’t have a tragic ending! I loved her films, she was a fantastic actress, beautiful, talented❤️
I believe that's what they call "clidk bait".
A great actress
Absolutely nothing sad about her ending. Pure clickbait. Lovely woman who lived a very full life.
Your right. Greer Garson retired in New Mexico and had a good life. What's so sad about that ?
Robert Anderson I don’t watch this guys channel even when I see someone who did die badly (Judy Holiday) because of the lazy clickbait titles.
Greer Garson was one of the greats in The Golden Age of Hollywood. They don't make them like that anynore. We don't respect the stars today like we did then. I wonder why !
There are no “stars” these days... no elegance and class, only sex and swearing
I only wish they made more of them 🌷
Their personal lives were anything but respectable.
Greer Garson was my mums cousin x
Is the narrator part human part computer? Honestly I’m asking. It’s kinda distracting
I've wondered the same thing. Every single video has several mispronounced names.
he will have a sad ending too........
No he is clearly messing up in the beginning of this one...and judging by the number of uploads each week, he’s just reading the Wikipedia pages of each one and and throwing together a PowerPoint of images...
AT 85 I HAVE FOUND HER CAPTIVATING IN HER SCREEN ROLES...SHE LIT UP THE SCREEN!
Coleman was an Academy Award-winning actor, not director.
one of my most favourite actresses..beautiful and talented
What was so sad? She lived to be over 90, was wealthy and adored.
Greer Garson played elizabeth bennet in the movie pride and prejudice
GREER GARSON: THE EPITOME
OF CLASS, ELEGANCE AND STYLE!!! OMG!!! A BEAUTIFUL
LADY!! A REMARKABLE PROMINENT ACTRESS.
TQ KINDLY FOR A LOVELY PRESENTATION. 😊
one of my favourite actress 😘😘😘
She lived to be 91 and her marriage to Buddy Fogelson was a very happy one by all accounts. And she had a long and successful career, and she was well-liked. So, where’s the tragedy?
Sad ending?? Are you crazy?
Dying peacefully at the age of about 86 (if my memory serves me right) as a beloved actress and philanthropist mourned by countless people after a life of success and as a very rich person is a sad ending?!?
Same old, misleading garbage.
Greer died in 1996 at the age of 91.
She lived to approximately ninety! That's hardly unexpected!
She didn't have a sad life. I didn't click this because of your misleading title.I was interested in learning more about her. Please try to be accurate in your titles. For now, I will AVOID THIS CHANNEL.
The life and sad ending of remembering famous people. this episode we see the life of remembering famous people channel... it started at a young age but got dragged down by it's SAD ENDING TITLES... like every popular channel, the stardom was to much and it died. buried in the reruns of SAD ENDINGS forever.
WOW ! That was deep. Yeah, these 'sad endings' crap is too much. We all have rather sad endings in one way or another.
I always thought she had such a beautiful voice.
One of the best in film in my opinion.
Lived in her private apartment that Presbyterian for 6 months.
If memory serves, Greer was nominated for best supporting actress with 41 total minutes on film supporting Robert Donat who won the Oscar. Donat won best actor “good bye, mister chips”. Viven Leigh won the best actress. Greer lost to Hattie Mc Daniels in “gone with the wind”.
Greer was nominated for best actress. (Olivia de Havilland was nominated for supporting actress)
@@juliethestar my memory doesn’t serve me well
The studio wanted her known as a leading lady.
If there are any songs performed by Garson on CD, then please lemme know.
Ronald Colman starred in the movie Random Harvest he didn't direct it. The movie was directed by Mervyn Leroy.
Do Joan Crawford she's my favorite
Just be thankful that she was not your mommie!
@@uriahpeep1753 Some actors have denied Christina's claims!
I like these videos, and they are funny as the announcer struggles with many English names and British places, but his is a typical American thing ,just as they call there ruby style game American football , when there only one kicker and the ball is a girls version to a ruby ball.
Narration shouldn't sound like bad script reading.
Why was it tragic Remembering famous people? You shouldn't say things like this about people, it might comeback to you.
Manor Park and East Ham 2 different places but both in the Newham London Borough of England
She was not born in Cavan! She was Born in Downpatrick! She was a relative of my Grandmother.
Manor Park is nit in East Ham they are both in the London Borough of Newham
I’m related to her
How about you give us a story about a dead celebrity who had a “Happy” ending?
Please do 👉John milford👈
Ronald Colman was NOT a director. He was an actor. L.B. Mayer's last name is pronounced MAY-or, not MY-or. And it's Miniver, not Minnyver. Good lord! This narrator is so poor, I thought it was a bot. Some interesting info about Greer, but the delivery is plain awful!
I'm watching a lot of these erudite pieces about long-dead Hollywood stars. Fascinating. But most of the lives they led as dupes of the Hollywood movie factory system were ultimately tragic. No doubt they had good times - off and on. One views them and their beauty as well as their acting skills, but then one feels sorry for them. They made their pact with the devil, and ended up paying the price.
I thought she was a delight especially with Walter Pidgeon
There was no sad or tragic ending - STOP IT!
Cheap click bait to call every video a sad ending.
I think she was so pretty!
The Late Greer Garson (1904-1996) She was my most favourite actress. A beautiful talented woman. Whilst I have only done Theatre ( Adelaide.Theatre 62 and Hilltop Theatre) I would have Loved to have played alongside Greer Garson .She was so talented, very articulate, very composed, sweet singer. A Long and brilliant career.Miss you Darling xx❤❤
She reminds me of Meryl Streep, esp. when she speaks.
But much prettier!
Fine voice and qualities of speech; now PLEASE practise reading a script prior to recording it! This sounds like school class readings. You can do *much better.*
"Tragic ending"? Dying isn't tragic, especially dying after a long, interesting life. She died at age 91, nothing tragic about that.
You Should not say "The Life And Sad Ending", but you should make better videos.
the voice over is just dreadful
Talk about mistakes let alone not being able to pronounce words and he certainly couldn't even read the script properly falling over the wording to 🙈 you can teach children to do better than this!
Disaster!!
Wtf. Lived excellent for 90 years. Bullshit clickbait
What was tragic about that? Nothing.
