I have venti since the first banner and dont regret a thing, he is a great unit to use with a huge number of teams.
Usually when i need kazuha on one side i go around a team to put venti on the other depending on the circunstances.
It's being years and i still love playing him.
Here's a tip that most players overlook and I'm surprised you didn't mention it. Venti's updraft can be used in combat to spam your plunging attack, similar to Dragonstrike, if not better. For characters like Diluc who have really high scaling on their plunging attack, this can be a massive boost to their rotation. Utility will vary from character to character, consider if your main dps benefits from plunging attacks or not before making use of this. Tighnari can work alright with Venti for example, but none of his damage comes from his plunge attack.
As a person who HATES every anemo characters' skill delays except Kazuha and Jean, I thank you for your service.

@@nuraxisnx4723 I meant supports. Like Sucrose is hell to use as a support in some teams because of her application delay in her skill and burst.
Try playing lynette, her burst is VERY fast cast and can be switched out from so quickly

Jean i dont use her anymore and her abity to simpy throw someone off a clife was cool. I dont think there anything wrong with Jean she just got drowned by other characters
I loved listening to this! Another Quick tip. If you don't plan on Constellations for Venti, don't build ADC, it's not worth it. It really shines after C2 and C4 as a main dps Venti. As a C6 Venti main I have done them, and its absolutely worth it afterwards, more than 100k per E and ult ticking 15-20K Anemo not to talk about Swirl with VV.

As a DPS Venti you focus on CRIT>ATK%>ATK
But if you are not going for C2-C4 (which is a huge buff for himself)
He deals more with a heavy focus on EM.

Is my go to DPS team for Venti DPS.
You can have a fun around with things though.
You can use Albedo's elevator to make use of any melee focused units. As long as you don't move forward, you won't fall off the elevator. Takes a little practice to line them up properly.
Generally, start with Albedo, get the EM buff, and set up the elevator. Cast the Venti Burst over the elevator. Switch to the melee set up.

Venti is the type of charactter that you wouldn't pull at this point in the game but if you already have it you find it hard to let him go. I pretty much Morgana one side of the abyss every cycle because of how well and easily it works. It's super comfortable and by Swirling Cryo the ER requirements for Ganyu and Shenhe go down significantly

Pulled venti to complete the wanderer, faruzan and bennet comp. Small fries dont stand a chance against this team. Worth it

My fastest in the dpc domain is 35 sec with my lvl 50 c3 faruzan without foodbuffs.
@@nandha-one9819 Domain times are kinda bullshit because the timer starts as soon as you start loading the map. My fastest domain clear was 20 seconds and it was impossible to improve it because 15 of those seconds were from the loading screen + time to get to the middle of the domain, which i used yelan's E + sprint hopping to do. it was on the og dendro artifacts domain. completely deleted every mob instantly.
I think the only part I'd put an asterisk on is that EM is easier.
Sure, a mid ADC build will preform worse than a mid EM build, but the EM is harder to farm because the rates to get EM artifacts are so low. ADC artifacts are easier to get, and their ceiling is higher than EM (though it does take a LOT of investment to hit that point, i'm talking 40-50 Crit Value)
In reality, it just depends on your farming luck. If you get really good ADC pieces and mid EM/very few EM pieces, just build ADC.

While generally speaking ADC is better than EM at high investment, that is no longer the case if the swirls are proccing other reactions, like in a taser team or in aggravate team.
The reason EM is considered eaisier even though EM has low drop rates is because substats are less important on EM builds and generally substats are where most of the RNG from artifacts comes from, since not only do you need the right substats, but you need to roll into the correct ones.

I'm running hu tao, xingqiu, venti and zhongli and i know hu tao can't hit enemies that are lifted but when she bursts while inside the eye of the storm, good lord it's so much fun watching the enemies vaporize 🤡

I'm a new Genshin player cuz of a Freeze Ganyu x Venti gameplay I saw and was in awe by how aesthetic their combination of skills are lmao so I pulled for Venti without a care for the meta 😂😂
I got venti, the last anemo character in my collection. My team is wanderer, c6 faruzan, c1 yelan and venti. Its really fun to play and never misses. Use ventis burst, then faruzans, then yelans and then one shot everyone in the vortex with wanderers burst is so satisfying.

You shouldve mentioned about how venti can be used as a comfy pic for range dmg dealers thanks to him pulling enemies away while kazuha is better for melee because he pulls enemies towards you

Venti has been such a weird character on my account. Got him on his debut banner, used him until I got to Inazuma (when he stopped being good Bc of the enemies being heavier for Venti’s Burst) and he stayed off my team radar for a while.
Then I got Neuvilette
I’ve been enjoying him paired with Neuvilette and plan on building Beidou for an EC team. Despite having him for years I didn’t know how to cancel his skill that well, so I’m glad I got to see this video 😊

Try venti diona nuvillet and nahida. They make up the ultimate fridge it's crazy. Sometimes I don't use this in the abyss because of how powerful it is
2:05 I do full EM too, but EM is certainly not cheaper than ADC. EM mains always have the rarest drop rate of artifacts.
Albedo also has quadratic scaling on his Skill & Burst and nice synergy with Ven (apart from being unSwirlable).
I have Alb, Venti & Ayato and running all 3 together is so silly when there's multiple enemies.

Your point on Venti lifting up enemies is why I think Venti is the best dps out of the three. Between Sucrose, Kazuha and him. He returns energy sure but buffing wise unless you have his 5* bow, the blue one, he’s best at contributing damage to your team in aoe scenarios with characters how can hit enemies who float slightly.

for ADC venti, I would say so long as you have the necessary artifact and weapon to gain 1.9k+ atk and around 70/200 crit, and you have suitable support (I used faruzan c6, furina c0, bennet c5+) its better and easy to run against even bosses in the overworld, I could one cycle most 1 cycle-able bosses with aforementioned minimal stat. You need 2+ cons for using ADC in current abbysal cycle f12 stage 2, obviously, but who in their right mind not use venti for the chamber 1 in both EM and ADC build.

So that skipping animations helps me a lot since I use polar star on my Venti I actually use every type of attack anyways to boost my attack.

about the comparison with kazu section, if the enemys are venti-able venti is muuuch better than kazuha or almost any other unit if you build a team that works with venti's ult. The problem is that mihoyo doesn't want venti to be the best unit of the game lol so the abbys is usually really bad for him; there is always a boss in both sides and at most one chamber with full venti-able enemies :(

i got venti with only 4k primos and no 50/50, kinda regret it cuz a few days after getting him i realised how great Wriothesley is and now im panicking cuz im obsessed with him and there's only 1 day left for him and my mom isnt giving me my frickin money so i could buy primos, i have 4k again but thats only x2 ten wishes so i shouldnt be too happy

Venti does suck up Klee's flowers but yet i still use them together. but honestly i dont like either one in game play
Venti felt strong in the beginning but Sucrose and Kazuna just seem better now. Klee she low HP and to much work. Hu Tao just out performs every DPS Pyro

I still believe even after zhongli's kit buff that out of all the archon zhongli's kit still is the most useless.
Zhongli’s Res Shred from his shield allows your other units to push out far more damage. Also, having a shielder in Spiral Abyss is extremely valuable since spending less time being knocked back/dodging prevents DPS loss so it’s no wonder he’s widely used. Resist Shred is extremely relevant in Spiral Abyss and can mean the difference between tens of thousands of damage. Zhongli alone increases my Neuvilette’s damage output by 50% ish.
As much as I love Venti (he’s the reason I play), his kit is pretty niche and more difficult compared to the widely usable Kazuha 😢

EM build is cheaper? lol, no no it’s not it is so much harder to get a EM set. I have 2 VV EM pieces that are on my kazuha and I farmed that domain and fed things into the strong box for months to get 2 . It got me so much resin and artifacts.
Can confirm, been farming that shit for EM Kazuha for 2 years now. I know your pain. Worth it though! Got to 1060 EM and 170% ER here :D

Venti is ok but I really hate his C1. It's dogshit! As a C1 Venti owner, I can't understand what were they thinking when they designed him. It's barely a little bit useful when you need to shoot at barrels or something like that. He's nice as a 5 star, but as an Archon... he's lackluster. His signature is great but useless on him! Just like Zhongli's sig weapon (but that weapons is useless on all chars xD). Even his C2 is not a big deal. At least Zhongli's C2 makes his Q viable in rotations and also makes him great for co-op. I think they need to redesign his kit or at least his cons. Now Raiden, Nahida and Furina all have nice C1 cons, broken C2 cons and also their sig weapons are their BiS. I wish Venti had the same treatment, like a C1 that gives him an E skill reset and a C2 that, idk, makes his Q suck even large and heavy enemies into it while also giving some nice elemental dmg bonus to all party members with the same infused element or something like that. They could also release a brand new 5* bow during a Venti rerun and make it his BiS sig weapon, with some beautiful green harp/windy design that matches him perfectly while having an EM main substat and some long texted passive crafted specifically for him just like the staff of homa is made for Hu Tao or Neuvillete's sig weapon is made for him. In fact, I think they could make Venti great again just by adding this new weapon and nothing else.

I think he is when the content suits him well and his team mates can play around his Burst. I highly doubt any of his kit is ever going to get changed
Kazuha is overrated. there are a LOT of scenarios where other anemos are outperforming him recently. on those "wave of monsters" events for instance, a single venti burst can suck up up to maybe 5 or 6 waves, while kazuha's thing only does one, and he has to be fielded for that.
Plus, there are many teams where kazuha might be a time loss due to the disproportionate amount of time he uses to do his thing when fielded. he delays rotations a lot more and takes precious main DPS time, and people rarely, if ever, account for that.
Venti has been absolutely great lately. He's been better than kazuha for combat events AND the abyss since 4.0. And he's neuvillette's best friend. seriously, it's kinda bullshit, even.

Tip no 1 . Don't main Venti . He is a quick swap support with near zero on field playstyles . You just E then burst immediately.
