I do wonder if she is singing it so stripped back because she knows she has a tour coming up. I think fans need to stop comparing her to her voice 17 years ago, time comes for us all. We don't expect athletes to perform the same 17 years later, it is literally impossible for a singers voice not to weaken after almost 2 decades of singing. She also has an autoimmune disorder, something else she is probably factor into an upcoming tour. Regardless I still adore her 💜
no she just can't sing anymore unfortunately, i'm not sure why she ever goes on tour when she clearly can't properly sing a couple of songs during a gig. I'm still going to go on the concert just to support but it's all very sad.

Beyoncé maintained her voice and even improved in some aspects. So Hyang improved as well and maintains her voice. Leona’s issues are most likely due to imperfect technique and her health issues.
@@kingdomheartscomments8742 as somewhat of an expert on that field...it sounds like vocal dysphonia...which is mostly psycho/neurological. You can hear her muscles spasm around 1:57 for example (she's close to her chest register there and the muscles grab until she forces herself to stay in head voice). It is probably not a technical issue (other than her having no confidence/not trusting in her technique and voice) rather her voice reacting in unexpected ways especially if it smth doesn't feel 100% comfortable and safe vocally. It's hard to describe if you haven't experienced it. Other examples would be Shania Twain, Brian Littrell (Backstreet Boys) and Bon Jovi. It is very hard to rehab since it is a complex issue and a oftentimes a chronic condition.

Y’all are so mean. Shes said numerous times she is sick and her illness has affected her voice a lot.

Fans have said that she would be getting better since 2015, but the recovery seems not to exist by far. 🥲 Even, I may say that is getting worse.
@@wingtsewing7250 Sure it took away her ability to support well and use big belts. But she really had few good moments like in the cat Musical in 2015. Also 2019 and 20 was fine too. She got actually the Weakest after her pregnancy. She still can recover little bit and learn to use her technique better . Her head voice and falsetto are not gone .the technique is gone.

Her head voice/Falsetto isnt that strong to do this parts with approach. That's what makes it so noticeable.
I was really hopeful that there would be some improvement but her chest voice is just non existent. Its very hard to watch and listen to. Her head voice is gone. She has about a 1 octave range in falsetto now. This is just heartbreaking 😢 a please drop Higher Love immediately.

If im not wrong leona is pregnant again. So her technique changes in pregnancy.
If she is sick or pregnant, she should try to perform easier songs like Collide and Lovebird which demand less belting. Now, she used falsetto to replace the belting made the whole thing even worse and awkward.
@@wingtsewing7250 she is both sick and pregnant and sry but lovebird is much harder😃lovebird is all in chest register. Just give her a break. She was getting better in 19 and 2020. Let us see how shes doing next year .
