Now I'm just a corridor weeper 😢
"IT HAS A 4/5"
"I'm uh... gonna retire from streaming."
The Roffle/Rarran dynamic is absolutely comedy gold.
rarran as boiling pot is amazing
Peak level editing right there
*Biserable was also funnier than I expected it to be.
a fine addition to the kettletuber collection
“Anybody that has played a card game before in their life can look at Patches and see it’s busted” - poor Voxy
When did poor roxy said that? 🤓
@@towelie9073 She didn't, but she didn't think it was good.
tbf she was shown nerfed version
Do you mean Voxy?
@@kneticnrg Do you mean Boxxy?
I love the integrity of the second guesser not going 0.1 higher or lower than the first, even if they were thinking the same score.
I love seeing the Roffle collab, and even better to see him lose his mind to some of those ratings
Editor was getting sick of Rarran's "It's tough."
orly
I never even paid attention... now I'm poisoned I'll never not hear it.
8:24 Oh my GOD the sound Rarran made, his brain was absolutely scrambled by that score hahahaha
Whoever edited this did good job!
I bet it was pretty TOUGH.

Rarran drinking game: take a shot when he says "tough"
I was laughing at how Roffle had great insight on how Kobold Stickyfingers would be rated because of all the experiences he's had with it in the past
if you do this again, you should do points on how far away each person is from the actual score and total at the end. this stops one player from guessing 4.5 then the other 4.4 if they think it was lower
It's probably not necessary since there's points where they willfully acknowledge that's scummy and avoid doing it, but I still agree cause that honestly might be a more interesting metric to score by anyways. As it is now, you can be really wrong and still get a point if you were slightly less wrong than the other person. If they tallied how far off they were, it'd be more about how in tune with the community they actually are overall.
Never rate something that's not obviously a horrible card below 2.5, because people hate to rate a card low. "Unplayable" is 3 stars
Also worth remembering 1 is the lowest you can rate, so 2.5 isn't the middle point, 3 is.
it's funny cause rarran really early in said "people seem to over value cards" then they both kept lowballing a majority of the bad cards
I think one thing they both didnt consider is if a bad card looks decent/fun it wont be below a 3 because averages of people who are hyped on it bring it up giving 5s. On top of people are going to hedge their bet if they cant tell and give a 3 rather then a radical pick
That's true. A lot of people probably rated the cards based on how cool they were instead of how powerful they were.
That too. I was mostly just considering people who are going off power but i wouldnt doubt thats actually the larger % of peoples vote
also redditor type individuals voting le meme up, I'd wager ogre or yeti might be rated high. same with the ragers
When Roffle said 👏 i felt it
Roffle's reactions are just absolutely hilarious, collabs with him are always something to look forward to due to your dynamic with him!
Man, that was a tough one
The editing as well as the chemistry you two have is great. I'd like to see more of that!
Yo Rarran, this was a really cool video, really enjoyed it and hope you do more of these with Roffle or other guests who know HS well enough to give a solid analysis.
Wasn't expecting the Cult of the Lamb soundtrack at 36:27 >_
New drinking game: take a shot every time Rarran says, "Tough."
alcohol poisoning my beloved
13:20 the biggest impact towards Rexxar being playable was rotation where a lot of dogwater beasts got rotated out and replaced with those with rush or lifesteal. Vicious Scalehide was the biggest highroll imaginable because you could get a big dumb 7 mana idiot that would probably heal you for like 14 or whatever by immediately trading (rush) and forcing the opponent to deal with it. The 1 mana 2/1 leech was also really good to hit despite being literally unplayable in deck building.
Well this one was an instant classic. I hope y’all do a part two
Yo shoutout to @wolti for all the little edits in this video, each one made me laugh :)
Had a blast editing the vid, hope you enjoyed it as much as i enjoyed working on it

I know some pre-release commenters suggested Bounce Around would see play in Caverns Below Rogue, completely ignoring the fact that all your minions cost 1, you know, so it's just a worse daring escape. I definitely think people were letting their emotions do the reading for them.
Edit: Shirvallah (Holy Wrath) Paladin was already a deck before the set even came out, iirc.
Saw this live. Amazing editing. Made the concept even better
This might have been the most entertaining video I have seen in a while. Goddang that was funny
That's such a great concept for a video to listen to while gaming
Whenever I see Krag'wa I can only think of the fact that Roffle used to be a night elf, you know?
Who thought it was a good idea to give a unique voice line for a card with Echo/Repeatable this turn? @_@
Oh no, hidden memory unlocked
Love the Cryptmaster OST in the background. Very chill and nice ambiance.
Also very fun video.
Please do more of this. It was really fun.
14:42 I mean instantly putting the portal onto the board would probably be the best way to buff it. Honestly, the biggest issue with the quest has always been the gigantic tempo loss of having to play the 5 mana spell AFTER going -6 in card advantage.
Lmao @ Roffle in the beginning and the tea kettle. Nice edits 😂
Roffle expressing his dissapointment in the HS community is pretty funny in itself.. wonder if he has ever seen a chat sample from a Twitch stream 😂
Either I watched this live, this is a re-upload, I am suffering from extreme déjà vu or I have awoken my latent precognitive meta abilities because I swear I have watched this already.
It must be a re upload. He mentioned he was going to come out with hos top 100 in the video, and he released that one recently. This one may have different editing, though. I remember them revieving these cards too, but not with the funny editing at the beginning
Omg that opener is phenomenal. Hahaha
This video concept and execution is great!
The editing in this video is so good
I would absolutely love to see another round of this.
i need a sequel episode to this rarran plz
This guessing game actually has a submeta that neither guy figured out here.
Whenever you're guessing second, you only need to decide if you're gonna go higher or lower. Once you do, you should stick as close to the other person's score as possible. So, if the opponent guesses 3.0 , and you think it's lower, the only correct pick is 2.9 . The point is that, if the number is higher, you were gonna lose anyway, but if the number is lower than guessing 0.1 lower is enough.
If you were to guess 1.6 and the correct answer is 2.4 , then you lost simply because you went too low and 2.9 would've guaranteed a win in any
There's a certain energy to *_Wide Roffle Clap_* that just kinda stuck with me throughout the entire video, I don't know why.
Amazing video idea. Really really fun to watch.
rarran eddy and roffle dynamic is like that of spongebob patrick and squidward
Thank you David for making my day at 2:13. You deserve a raise.
The choice of Symphony of the Night music for this one is just perfect, especially the Long Library theme
I really like this video format. I hope you do it with other creators or the devs.
Shoutout to the editor of this video ! You've added just the right amount of neat little edits throughout the whole vid !
Awesome video! I would love to hear what rating you guys would give these cards if you ever do this again, and keep bringing Roffle back!
Roffle at the start was so FUNNY XDDDD Almost missed out on this video.
This is a good concept, I'd be down for more people, both hearthstone and non-hearthstone players to do it.
incredible editing on this one, many funnies +2
any content with Roffle is fantastic
If I've learned anything from this video, it's that rating cards in Hearthstone is... tough.
this video reminds me of my 7th grade powerpoint presentation when i just learned how to use the animations and added effects so i put them everywhere
The Cult of the Lamb soundtrack in the background was a 10/10 choice
Rarran after eating steak he didn’t like: “That’s tough.”
Imagine taking a shot every time Rarran says tough
i dont normally comment on videos but i gotta give praise to the editor for this video, very well edited and such a fun watch!
Great vid, maybe for next time you can both score at the same time and then turn around the score. Then you dont have the "problem" of someone not being able to go up by 0.1 or something even though they think it is the right score to give.
Btw Rattlegore on release if I remember well was extremely strong even though nobody thought it would be. Control warrior was very strong and Rattlegore was wincon. It was even so prevelent that people were running Silas Darkmoon in their CW to steal their opponents Rattlegore.
Applause for Wolti, the edit is fantastic!🎊
“If Confessor Paletress is rated that high, the community doesn’t deserve daily videos.” fair honestly
Big editor W on this video. So many good details
Played Cube in Warlock decks, Cube Hunter, Cube Rogue, Taunt Druid....Cube was a blast!!! :)
really good editing in this video
Idk if you got a new editor or the old one is just going off, but these edits got me on the floor more than usual. Keep up the good work
Love the editing, really good style!
Paletress turned Rarran into muscle man.
this video could've been 3 hours long and I would've watching it all with a grin on my face
DATS TUFF
I really like the editing in this video it seems different then usual
Great game y'all! Hope roffle isn't too upset with the ratings, it was tough to predict them for sure
Witchwood through Rastakhan was full of Cube decks, epic times :)
Hi rarran. Just so you know, the only fan art I've ever drawn was a hunter Carnivorous cube fanart. It was so hyped.
I dont know who edited this one but hes hilarious
The editor cooked out of their mind in this video, they also have great music taste please make more 🙏🙏
This was a lot of fun.
Yeah, it's tough
8:39
😂
Absolutely love the editing in this video!! Hope to see more like it
Damn thats tough
That's tough
Cubelock and Deathrattle Hunter. Carnivorous Cube was no joke.
Rarran dropping banger like its nothing!
Suggestions for next time, have to guess at the same time, and 1 point for closer 2 points for exact.
When you pay the editor, they meme the crap out of your videos and it's hilarious. Lol
This was a fun video indeed
You guys should do a best of three using cards that are a certain rating(like only 3 star cards) since there are some weird outliers
41:18 thank you editor for adding a nice comment for us CZcams Andys
Chrono Trigger music heard, am happy now
Love this video format and think the addition of a third person would have the potential for even more magic.
that was a really though video
21:30 rarran having nightmares of the expansion series
It's surprising to me that they don't really remember how the general community evaluates cards. Rattlegore was underrated because it's so slow. Patches was underrated because players didn't understand the value of deck thinning. People weren't that excited about Deathstalker Rexxar because the effect seemed counter to an aggressive playstyle. It took time for players to understand that you could use the card to transition from an aggro win condition to a value win condition in the mid/late game.
I want sloppy toppy from carnivorous cube
You are so real for this
Same
you may want that, but you need jesus.
I love this community
What about a sloppy from jesus. Would that be sinful or blessed? @@REDDAWNproject
missed opportunity to give rager 1.5 score
I think The People(TM) under estimate the power of tempo pretty often.
Do you have a new editor ? the editing seems really different
I remember when patches got spoiled, and coming from an extensive background of competitive MTG and YGO, my first impression was "...oh, this is broken, right? Like this is best card in the set, right?" and got met with a tonnn of replies saying "bruh no, this card is trash. But maybe good in meme pirate decks"
....such delicious vindication when he warped the format :)
If you were coming at Patches from those backgrounds, you SHOULD have thought it was trash.
That wasn't vindication, you were right by accident.
People see summon legendary and lose their minds afterwards
I think a better system for a rating video like this would be to add up how far off from the actual rating each player was. For example if one of you rates a card 1.8 and the other thinks it'a 4.0, it is safer for him to just say 1.9 and be closer to the actual rating as long as it's higher than 1.8.
