Hi. I have followed your instructions and for one site it worked beautifully however my second site is bigger and the reupload stalls at 83% timeout something. How do I get past this (happens when I try to restore update)
Sorry to be a bit thick, but I've downloaded and activated Wpvivd but it doesn't show on my main Dashboard. It's there, and activated, under Plugins, but can't seem to get it to open. Any clues? I've got it hosted on my own computer using Localwp.

What sort of annoying plugin after doing everything, it changed my control panel of the new domain. Please is there a fix for it. It copied the database of my old website

why do we delete active theme before restoring the site, whats if the site is down how do we login and restore the site from remote server
no, we Don't need to delete active theme. I just deleted that so that i can show you the restoration works.

What to do if all images in media does not upload from restore?
Maybe the restoration process is incomplete. If some image are missing, then please do "restore" again.
For some reason my backups get stuck from time to time and finally hit a wall at 85%.
Sometime it take time FOR large websites.
