    If you're track doesn't have a whole lot of traction you'll like the kit setup, you may end up with too much rear traction lol Check steering play every so often, I had the two screws that hold the bellcranks to the front bulkhead loosen a few times and they are a pain to get to. Ultimately I sold my B6.4d as the closest track to me is sealed clay with traction for days and I found my 22 5.0 to be much more nimble. Even with all carbon pieces and setup changes I found the B6.4 harder to rotate unless I threw it into corners. For lower bite tracks though, it's great! Good luck.

    Looks a lot like the TLR steering bellcranks, side guards.....pretty nice looking😎👍

    They definitely stepped up the build quality between b6.2 and b6.4. Especially with the hardware.

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  Před rokem +1

      I also heard a few years ago that B6.2 is when most of the AE plastics/molds changed and improved significantly. I still think it's a bit weird that they only put rubber seals on one side of the bearings, I mentioned that in the T6.2 build but not this one. I've been installing them with rubber towards the side that would get the most dirt.

      @@netcruzer yes I found it strange also. I was very unhappy with my t6.2 build quality that I did recently. Lucky I had built a b6.4 previously and it was pretty good.

      Bell cranks can’t be fully tightened or the bind. Hex in the Ball studs are so soft good luck removing once tightened. All were fixed on b6.4. Ive built 10 plus buggy’s in the past 3 months getting back into the sport with my 2 sons. I even built a lc racing lc10b5 the build quality on that much better the associated.

    love Your videos , good luck with the new buggy , I still run my b6.1D (with modified parts) try the new front carbon arms , I always ran the hard arms in the front and they never broke super consistent , Take care John 😊

    That battery mount comment surprised me. I tried the jc swing which is same style as yours and went back to stock mount after 1 track evening 😅 well its all driver preference offcourse.

    Nice build review! AE buggies are pretty darn good, love all of Dustin's setups! Is this your first AE 2wd buggy?

    Bro, what sort of ESC & motor that you are using ? 🤔

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  Před 6 měsíci

      Hobbywing XR10 Pro Stock Spec ESC and a SMC Lowrider 13.5T motor

    Do you get the servo & esc weights in the kit ?

    The fan wire and sensor cable can thru the waterfall and into the center channel..

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  Před 11 měsíci

      Yes it can, but I've always had a hard time finding nice flat sensor wire cables in proper length. All the sensor cables I have have a round rubber sheath. While I could remove it, it's also highly likely that I'd cut a wire along the way so I don't.

    • @HL-OOI
      @HL-OOI Před 11 měsíci

      I thought sensor cable is pretty much standard as it is so small and it doesn’t matter flat or round. You can just bend the sensor cable along the way from the motor to the esc. Just that the esc have to be placed on the center of the esc plate..

    I would love to here your thoughts compared to the yokomo

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  Před 10 měsíci

      More rear grip, more suspension pack with the larger shocks, easier to drive, less spinouts than the yokomo. This AE B6.4D has put me in the AMAIN consistently and I could not do that with the Yok or TLR. But everyone has different opinions and driving styles/setup.

    Great video and helpful as this buggy is on my radar. In your opinion (OR OTHERS) is there any need/advantage to do the FOX shock upgrade on this? If so, do you buy the whole FOX kit or just the bodies? Kind of a noob thx

    • @netcruzer
      @netcruzer  Před 5 měsíci

      No fox shock needed. These are excelling with a bit of piston tuning for less oil pack as I showed. But B7 is coming out right now if you want newest.
