As an American who had never seen an Indian movie until Baahubali I and II ... I can only say I am completely obsessed. 2 of the best movies ever and I love watching Indi Ross’s reaction. I have watched it in every language (though only speak English, sadly) except only a few minutes of the English dub. I hated that. My favorite is is the tamil Version with captions but all are amazing, I have probably watched both movies .... two dozen times? It’s like nothing I have ever seen and so glad it was brought to the US and Netflix. So much history ... so much rich tradition .... India is an amazing, beautiful, tragic, incredible, and complex Rubik’s cube of history and culture ... and a modern player on the world stage of the highest level.
The Devasena scene that is your favorite is amazing to me as well. You probably noticed that it nicely recapitulates the scene with Sivagema at the very beginning of Baahubali 2 (with the rampaging elephant). Very cool way to connect them both as well as the dad and son. Love your videos - stay true to you 😊.

For me devasena is the best character in the movie because for 25 years she wished and wanted one and only thing which is her son will kill bhalaldev . And then everything sets itself up automatically to it happen . That is what is shown in the burning bridge scene where it gets replaced for her to walk and in the end that statue head flows down in to the river in front of the Shivling.
Yeah there are many scenes in the Bahubaali franchise that are absurd. Still I think it's intentionally supposed to be over the top. It's a big reason why these movies are so fun :)
